Out Of My Head

How far I'm about to go
Come on baby just let me know
Cos this bomb is about to blow
Are you feeling me yeah?
(Are you feeling me yeah?)
Are you feeling me yeah?
Are you feeling me yeah?
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
All the satisfation,
Tied into your own reaction
Simple case of our attraction
And I'm blinded by primal distraction
Leaves me out of my head
Yeah
I know that you like it
Breathing heavy when you get excited
You try so hard to hide it
So baby give it up and don't try to fight it
Are you feeling me yeah?
(Are you feeling me yeah?)
Now, are you feeling me yeah?
(Are you feeling me yeah?)
Now, are you feeling me yeah?
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
All the satisfation,
Tied into your own reaction
Simple case of our attraction
And I'm blinded by primal distraction
Leaves me out of my head
Leaves me out of my head
(Guitary bit)
(Are you feeling me yeah?)
All the satisfation,
Tied into your own reaction
Simple case of our attraction
And I'm blinded by primal distraction
Leaves me out of my head
(All the satisfation)
(Tied into your own reaction)
Leaves me out of my head
(Simple case of our attraction)
Leaves me out of my head
(And I'm blinded by primal distraction)
Leaves me out of my head
The lyrics to Austin Drage's song "Out of my Head" talk about someone wanting to take a relationship to the next level. The opening lines, "Don't think you know how far I'm about to go, come on baby just let me know, cos this bomb is about to blow" indicate that he's ready to take things up a notch and that the wait is almost over. He's asking his partner whether they're feeling the same way and whether they're willing to take the next step.
The chorus consists of the questions "Are you feeling me yeah?" being repeated several times, with a guitar riff to accompany it. It's evident that the singer is trying to gauge his partner's feelings and make sure they're on the same page. The second verse references the satisfaction that comes with a partner's reaction, and how it all boils down to attraction. The singer is so distracted by their attraction that they're "blinded by primal distraction", and it leaves them "out of their head". This line is repeated towards the end of the song, which makes it the main hook of the track.
Overall, the song talks about the excitement that comes with being so attracted to someone that it almost becomes a distraction. The singer is trying to make sure that their feelings are reciprocated and that they can explore the next steps together. The lyrics, along with the upbeat and lively guitar riffs, make the song a catchy tune that will get stuck in your head.

His voice is unique. I absolutely love it, it gives me goosebumps. He's got talent and determination and star quality, I so hope he makes it, whether he wins XF or not. I would buy his stuff, and I'm an indie fan..Austin could crossover into so many genres. And this song is GOOD!

There's always someone I spot at the beginning of X-Factor that stands out and I root for 'em. Methinks this guy's gonna be the one! Fantastic voice!

This guy could be a massive star, I hope the curse of the X Factor doesn't ruin it for him. He is a cut above the normal X Factor fodder even though it's strong this year..

Sounds good. He absolutely MUST stop crying on the X-Factor. He's the only guy whose voice I like this year, otherwise I'm entirely in the female camp, both young ones and over 25s.
