Oh babe
Yes babe
Ooooh yes
Oh babe
yes babe
(I hope she answers my prayer tonight)
inside of you, baby...
You make me feel like livin' and breathin' again
I wanna touch you
Don't say no, just say yes
Your body's what I need
Don't say no, just say yes
I can hear you callin me
Your my diamond that shines all of the time...
oh mercy me, yeah...
You made me reach my peak
that day you told me that you wanted me,
don't be afraid baby...
Don't say no, just say yes
Your body's what I need
Don't say no, just say yes
I can hear you callin me
You are my season
and you are the reason
I feel the way I do
as our bodies become as one
you're my star
that's what you are (you, you are)
Don't say no, just say yes
Your body's what I need
Don't say no, just say yes
I can hear you callin me
Now let me hear you say yes,
say, say, say yes
say, say, say yes
say, say, say yes
oh yeah, oh yeah
(repeat)
(Speaking)
Come here baby, lay down right here
I don't wanna talk no more
I can feel you, your body, all over mine
Ooh open your door for me
I'm comin in
knock knock
knock knock baby
knock knock
knock knock baby
knock knock
knock knock baby...
The song "Don't Say No Just Say Yes" by Avant is about a man who is trying to convince his lover to open up her heart and let him love her. He wants to make her feel cherished and safe in his arms, and he wants her to trust him completely. He tells her that her body is everything he needs and that he can hear her calling him. He compares her to a diamond that shines all the time, and he feels that she is the reason he is alive.
The chorus repeats the words "Don't say no, just say yes" several times, which implies that the woman may be hesitant or uncertain about their relationship. However, the man is persistent and wants to reassure her that he is the right choice for her. He wants her to let go of her fears and give herself fully to him.
The song uses a lot of romantic imagery and metaphors to convey the depth of the man's love for his partner. He sees her as his "star" and compares their coming together to the changing of the seasons. Ultimately, the message of the song is one of complete devotion and commitment.
