The thrill is gone away
The thrill is gone baby
The thrill is gone away
You know you done me wrong baby
You'll be sorry someday
The thrill is gone
The thrill is gone baby
The thrill is gone away from me
Although, I'll still live on
But so lonely I'll be
The thrill is gone
The thrill away for good
All the thrill is gone baby
It's gone away for good
Someday I know I'll be open armed baby
Just like I know, I know I should
I'm free now baby
I'm free from your spell
Free, free, free now baby
Baby, I'm free from your spell
Now that it's all over
All that I can do is wish you well
The thrill is gone
The thrill is gone away for good
The thrill is gone baby
The thrill is gone away for good
You know you done me wrong baby
You'll be sorry someday
The thrill is gone
I'm free from your spell, baby
Yes, I'm free oh I'm free from your spell
"The Thrill is Gone" is a blues song recorded by B.B. King and friends in 1969. The song talks about the end of a romance and the feeling of disappointment and loneliness that comes with it. The lyrics capture the emotions of a man who knows that his lover has betrayed him and he also knows that things will never be the same again. All the excitement and joy that he experienced in the past have vanished, and he is left with a sense of emptiness.
The lyrics show a man who has accepted that the thrill he once felt in the relationship is gone. Even though he knows that he will be lonely, he has decided to move on with his life. He tells his lover that she will be sorry someday for treating him poorly. He realizes that he is free from her spell and that he can look forward to a brighter future.

Eric Clapton plays like a musician rather than a star. He always does. A real master.

4:56 Jimmi Vaughn just killed that improv man. He just managed to find the absolute perfect thing to play for that moment. Even Clapton played one hell of a solo. The beauty in Clapton’s solo lies in its fast pace and the way he used a mixture of high bends. Not to forget bb king and Robert clay who are timeless legends in their own right. Simply amazing.

Love hearing these legends play together.
During the solos you could close your eyes and know who’s playing the lead. Wish Stevie could have been there too
