I’ve been hurt a couple times before
I have experienced emotional and/or physical pain in the past.

I done been hurt by a lot of people Some within the churches Arguing and bickering No wonder these people rather be hurting
I have been hurt by many individuals, including those within religious institutions who engage in conflict rather than offering support. It is no surprise that people prefer to remain in pain.

A church house yes supposed to be A hospital for all the broken Yet we wanna all just be happy No regard for all the hopeless
Religious institutions are meant to be a place of healing for those who are struggling, but often prioritize the happiness of its members over addressing the needs of the hopelessness.

Man I just gotta see A day when it will all change When we all stop pointing fingers When we accept our part of the blame
I hope for a future when individuals stop blaming each other and take responsibility for their own actions.

We supposed to be one body But we more segregated than the world Our God He is love But how I explain all this to my lil girl
As members of a larger religious community, we should not be divided by differences like the rest of the world. It is difficult to explain this division to young children in a world where God is supposed to represent love.

I say its time we stand up All denoms we go all in Putting boots to the ground Time to see the devil falling
It is time for all religious denominations to come together and actively work towards defeating evil.

Its not over till he say its over That sky part and he come back So till that day comes imma stand up for my savior boy Run go tell dat
The situation is not fully resolved until the return of Christ, but until then I will continue to stand up for my faith loudly.

I am steadfast in my beliefs and committed to being a faithful follower of Christ, having undergone a spiritual transformation. I come from humble beginnings and have been raised in difficult circumstances.

I may face challenges, but I will not fight back with violence. Instead, I choose to love those who seek to harm me, as stated in Matthew 5:44. I will turn the other cheek and pray for those individuals.
