Generally that’s they are the easiest to fall for it. Normally they are not thinking straight due to their struggles or just do not know the signs of the game being played. Most people hear massive returns and that’s it they are invested. It’s unfortunate especially when the people who are scammed generally trust the people but unfortunately they trust the wrong ones.

I say people should always look up the thing these people pitch and look up the people who are pitching them these schemes. No way people who are rich will just give away their secrets to the common masses. Don’t fall for the picturesque life presented.

My sister got into one of these too. I told her straight up it’s a PYRAMID SCHEME you will lose your money. She said we don’t want to see her do well. I loaned her a small amount knowing it was lost but I did it for her to understand that I do want her to succeed and I told her that I just wish she wanted the money to help her better herself business wise or with some type of true entrepreneurship. Because I am giving you this just so you can learn the lesson. I have not heard anything about it since.

These really blew up last year. I was invited to one. It was invest 200 per person. As someone who works in Finance the only thing I had for them was questions. Even the basic math didn't make any sense. Let alone the investment itself. The entire time I guess someone told them as long as they call it a Gift or blessing that is was legit. Of course plenty of this is how "insert other racial group" keeps there money in the community was going on. The person that invited me, has since been exposed. Not as a bad person, but as someone falling into the entrepreneur - Tee Shirt business, Real estate agent, investor Loop. None of which is bad, it just they have not idea what they are doing actually. Way to much emotion, Hope and Praying and not enough expertise.

The sad reality in scams of this nature is the perpetrators know for the scheme to work, they must play on the victim's greed. A greedy individual will rationalize an idiotic scheme such as BINT, and "invest." Even if you don't fully understand the play, you know damn well "investing" $1,400 and receiving $11,400 payout in 7-10 days makes zero sense.

Idk how anyone fell for this. My parents are from the West Indies and we recognized this immediately. Once I noticed that the rules were a one time payment in order to double the money, the scam bells went off.

West Indians do this as well but it isn’t a one time payment. You pay every week or every month and it’s always a new person in the waterhole.

My son's best friend is in something like this with a Bitcoin or Forex scam, he doesn't think it's a scam though. He needs to recruit people to pay $1000 to learn and invest, then when they join they need to recruit people to learn and invest $1000. He made some money from it but I'm turned off by anything that requires me to constantly recruit people

It’s highly prevalent in the community , especially with the vulnerability and the hunger to make money quick , you see dozens of credit fix scammers and fraudsters and it’s such a shame my people are gullible and misinformed enough to fall for it all

If people could understand that money rewards those that are trained, skilled, educated, and experienced in other words you have to earn it! There's no way you can ever put experience in front of success just not gonna happen.

Hey spencer, I love the vids you make and the effort you put into them. Id like you you make one on the stock investment scam that happened in India. Its where two companies named IMA and Ambidant who gave the promised return and then ran away with the money. The number is outrageous and high profile politicians are involved. Its the same old scamy strategy but done in a professional way.

I know a family friend who got into one of these scams. He was so confident, he would call working people stupid and sad how he was going to get rich in his first ten years in the US. He got a lot of people to put in a lot of money and of course at the end of it he lost everyone’s money. He is delusional and his brother was the same way. His brother thought he could just start a record label and sign artists. I’m like ummm you need money and you need to learn the business bro it’s not that easy! One day he calls me all mad and nervous because his business partner was going to steal his business! I started laughing so hard and said WHAT BUSINESS?! I just gave up on him and let him waste his time. He said I just like putting people down but I said no I’m just being realistic! He can barely speak English but thinks he’s going to get rich off of a record label or entertainment business he was starting. 😂😂 I swear some people are just IDIOTS! I respect peoples dreams but you have to be realistic sometimes. You know those people who will say “instead of buying Jordan’s why don’t you make your own shoe company?!” Ummm because I don’t have millions to start up a shoe company you damn idiot!

I knew someone who invited his Whole Family into an MLM. Then 2 months later the MLM Failed and shutdown. Surprisingly the Guy tried MLM again and join a newer MLM company. Some people wont learn.

My mom is in a Pyramid scheme right now and she just won't hear me when I try to explain to her why it's bad.

The worst part of it that she already got paid once so it's almost impossible to convince her this is actually a bad thing ! The look of "see ? told you this shit was for real" when she got paid was so fcking infuriating to me knowing people are gonna get ripped off for this....

Nah man I've tried. When someone is inside the actively filter out anything that runs counter to their pyramids teachings. Lessons learned through pain last longer. I would record yourself trying to intervene once and play it back to them after they feel the pain.

@Person X That's where I'm at, My mother is smart, got a masters, worked at high positions most her life but somehow always feel the need to enter these type of things that run rampant where i'm from.

I just hope she loses a little bit of money and understands my point.
The only thing worse than losing your own money is losing the wrong person's money. I fear one day somebody she recruits get's fcked and snaps.

If you want to do something like this, do a saving pot with your family and friends, where everyone puts in an amount every every week someone can use the money for something. A money pool. If you had 30k in that pot between your family not in this blessing scheme you could’ve helped each other! You could try peer to peer lending with trusted sources (friends family not strangers). This is very sad.

They say the truth will set you free. But if you're a scammer it will lock you up. No wonder these guys imposed a penalty for criticism. That alone should be enough for people to realise they were being duped

Sure, they should be jailed for this scheme. But lets not forget that the “victims” willingly gave up their money knowing that it could be lost forever. People will continue getting scammed until we start to put some of the blame on them. We cant always tell victims, “Dont worry, its not your fault. You deserve your money back.” People need to actually lose something in order to learn a lesson. Pyramid schemes would die immediately if people stop handing their money over without doing research.
