If I remember rightly - Robert and Charley Hicks, two blues singing, spare rib barbecuers. Charley was better known as Charley Lincoln. This record had me spellbound when I first heard it over forty years ago. Both voices in unison, and those ringing twelve strings. Fabulous. Life didn't go too well for the boys when the depression hit. I must look up the details, remind myself.

Another great Georgia bluesman. Piedmont blues style predates the delta blues by a decade or so. Like both styles though. Of course, the mother of the blues - Ma Rainey - from Columbus, GA. Other GA bluesmen - Sonny Terry, Blind Willie McTell.
