That's an unpopular opinion I agree with. A lot of people complain about Chandler when he's with Monica, saying it ruined the dynamic with Joey. I grew tired of the idolized bromance between the two when it was so obviously co-dependent emotionally (all their fights) and one-sided financially. I'm glad Chandler outgrew that man-child state that Joey seems to be stuck in forever.

Sabrina Ferrani It was definitely time for both characters to grow up, and having Chandler move in with Monica allowed both to do that. The bromance was a bit played out, especially as it was grounded in the two still acting like boys, rather than men. I never minded the one-sided financial nature of their relationship. To me, it was part of their character development. Joey was very much a little boy in so many ways, and while perusing his dream of becoming an actor, couldn’t be bothered to get a day job to pay his own bills, content to let his friend support him (obviously he did make some money from acting, but very little). Chandler, despite his own shortcomings and refusal to completely embrace adulthood, was incredibly generous and would do anything for his friends, and did not value money over friendship (unlike most of us, he could afford to, as we saw later when he was able to pay for the wedding with Monica). Joey was aware of how much Chandler had done for him and paid him back in small ways (taking Chandler to the premier of his movie instead of taking a date, giving both Chandler and Monica money when they needed it when Chandler was out of work). I don’t think he ever repaid Chandler in full (as far as we saw on the show), but it’s possible he did once he could.

Being a sitcom, it wasn’t intended to be realistic. How many people would support a friend like Chandler did (financially, not just emotionally)? Very few, and even fewer could actually afford to. Most of us wouldn’t mind picking up the check at dinner from time to time if a friend was struggling, and maybe loaning small amounts without expecting to be repaid (I have). But more than that, most of us couldn’t spare even if we wanted to, and very few would be willing to; most would stop seeing that person as a friend and see them only as a leach, or think that they were hurting rather than helping because they were enabling that kind of behavior to continue (and more often than not, that would be an accurate description of the situation). The fact that Joey turned out to be a successful actor in the end and their friendship endured through it all isn’t at all realistic, but it’s nice to think that it could happen.

Well Ross buys a couch that he refuses to pay to have it delivered and have professional movers to get it up the stairs for them to do, and he gets a couple of friends to help bring the couch up to his apartment. Now would that be true friends, if they lied and said that they have something better to do, when they clearly didn't't, would that be a good friend.? And plus if a friend says or does something that starts to get on your nerves like Ross saying "Pivot", and you are still willing to tolerate it, how is that not being a good friend?

Lovely list, but one of my very favorite moments that I wish was here was when Phoebe tricked Rachel and told her her pregnancy test was negative, just to make Rachel see how she really felt about being pregnant. It was beautiful!!!!

And pivot scene & trivia game? They aren't friendship moments they are funny.
