Billie the Vision & the Dancers got together in Malmö during the recordings of the first album in the spring of 2004. The Singer, Songwriter Lars Lindquists had previous material from a solo project. One person wasn't enough he thought, and had persuaded five more members to join the project. Most of them old friends from his home town Bräkne-Hoby in Blekinge, and on top of that a new friend from Borlänge.
The debut I Was So Unpopular in School and Now They're Giving Me This Beautiful Bicycle released on their own label Love Will Pay the Bills got great reviews in the press and also got nominated at Manifest, the Swedish prize award for records released on indie labels.
2005 saw the release of The World According To Pablo and in 2007 "Where The Ocean Meets My Hand" was released.

Goodnight Sweetheart
Billie the Vision & the Dancers Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
But it suddenly hit me that I miss you so much and you're too far away from me
I never told you how much I love you and everybody need a brother like you
So goodnight dear brother, goodnight sweet brother
And thank you brother for helping me out, goodnight
Hello it's Pablo. Sorry for calling again. Do you remember when I dreamed about witches?
So goodnight sweet brother, goodnight dear brother
And take my hand if you dream about witches, goodnight"
And my brother went to Stockholm and I went crazy
I thought I could make it all by myself
But things have changed slowly now I'm in a mess
I wish you could bless me like you've blessed me before
So goodnight dear brother, goodnight sweet brother
And thank you brother for helping me out
So goodnight dear brother, goodnight sweet brother
Goodnight dear brother, goodnight sweetheart, goodnight
The lyrics to Billie the Vision & the Dancers's song "Goodnight Sweetheart" tell the story of two brothers who are separated by distance. The singer, Pablo, calls his brother late at night to tell him how much he misses him and how much he loves him. He thanks his brother for the help he has given him in the past and reminisces about a time when he had a nightmare about witches and his brother offered him comfort.
As the song continues, Pablo reflects on his own struggles since his brother moved away to Stockholm. He realizes that he cannot do it all by himself and wishes his brother was there to help him like he used to. The song ends with Pablo saying goodnight to his brother and calling him "sweetheart," which is an affectionate term often used between siblings.
