1. Birthday Girl is an indie band from Washington D.C. consisting of Mabel Canty (vocals), Isabella MacKaye (bass) and Tess Kontarinis (drums). Their debut self-titled record was released on July 14, 2023 via Army Brat Records.
2. Birthday Girl is a 3-piece electronic band, that incorporates a mix of acoustic instrumentation and found sounds. The members consist of Daniel Breiter (Fun Toy, HOOM), Dean Berger (Bateleur Co-Founder) and Glenn Stein (Los Tacos).
Having collectively been a part of the Cape Town music scene for the past few years, Birthday Girl came together as a side project with no intention of release or performance. Slowly it became clear they were creating something they wanted to share.
