Einar, the other vocalist in the song, talks about how he feels when he smells diesel, and how it makes him feel like he is close to the harbor, but at the same time, he can't get enough of it.
Björk returns to the theme of danger, and describes how there is a tide with an undertow and how the sea is swelling. She mentions how impatience makes her foam, and how there is a wave inside her forcing out big words that splash and sprinkle. There is an angry torrent breaking loose, and a flush or rushing joy. Einar continues to talk about how the diesel makes him feel, and how it fills his veins, and Björk responds by saying that it shouldn't gush out, and that she doesn't want it to be fussy.
In the end, Björk explodes again, and she calls out the names of weather stations and satellites as if she is controlling the weather. She feels like there is a blizzard inside of her, and a bomb ticking. She keeps repeating that "this is the tidal wave," while Einar keeps saying "the diesel is so nice." The song is about feeling a buildup of emotions that are about to explode, and how it feels like a tidal wave.
