It is the responsibility of patriotic citizens to remain in the country and help during tough times

For we know to weself there could never become a day
Trinidadians understand that there will never be a day where they can fully repay their country

When our debts to this country we can repay
Even if citizens contribute a lot to their country, they can never fully repay the debt they owe

People who want to leave Trinidad and Tobago can do so without any objection from the singer

But while outside I want you to have some consideration
However, those who leave the country should still remember their responsibility to their homeland

Trinidad and Tobago is currently experiencing one of the worst moments in its history

And we must do what we can regardless where we may be.
Regardless of where Trinidadians are in the world, they should do what they can to help their country
