Discovered by the Wu-Tang Clan when working in a casino, Blue Raspberry emerged as the group's in-house female vocalist during the first round of Wu-Tang solo projects. She added vocals to tracks on Method Man's Tical and Raekwon's Only Built 4 Cuban Linx, but seemed to have her position somewhat usurped by Tekitha on the Clan's second album Wu-Tang Forever. Nevertheless, she has continued to appear on Wu projects including Method Man & Redman's Blackout! and the Ghost Dog soundtrack. A solo album was in the works for 1999 and is known to have been completed but it was not released. Blue Raspberry finally debuted as a solo artist in 2005, releasing the album Out of the Blue through the semi-official Wu-Tang website Chambermusik.com.
Last seen with Hip Hop Artist & Music Producers Nick Speed and MIXO (A Hip Hop Artist From Detroit) working on Tracks in Studios all over The Detroit Area. Maybe a little Detroit flavor is all she needs to push her over the top. Remember this Girl can sang (that means she can sing really really good) Her Voice on the right track..... Instant Hit, She's done it before, So Nick Speed, MIXO, and any other music producers working with Blue Raspberry do some good work Because she has already paid her dues and she is ready to go.

It's time to relax your mind
It's twelve in the afternoon
Sunrays beamin through my room
Makin' me so hot
The temperature's a hundred and two (one hundred and two)
Tell me what can I do
I gotta find somethin' to do
I think I wanna get lifted
I've had so much stress on me
I feel like I need to get away
Even for a day
Gonna call my friends up and let them know
From late tonight to the break of dawn
There's a party goin' on
(It's time) It is time
(Relax your mind) Relax your mind
(It's time)
(Relax your mind)
Get your forties and your blunts
Roll 'em anywhere you want
Let's get a session goin' on so we can get on up
Now that I got you here everything is fine
Maxin and just relaxin, sippin on some red wine
I'm happy to see everyone
Ooh, havin' a good time
Don't let anything worry you
Just leave your troubles behind
I've had so much stress on me
I felt like I needed to get away
Even for a day
So I called my friends up to let them know
From the night until the break of dawn
There's a party goin' on
(It's time)
(Relax your mind) Relax your mind
(It's time) Oh it's time
(Relax your mind)
Get your forties and your blunts
Roll 'em anywhere you want
Let's get a session goin' on so we can get on up
Everything's fine
To the millions won't you come and swing
To Shaolin won't you come and swing
To the West Coast won't you come and swing
Everybody come and swing
To the East Coast come and swing
I've had so much stress on me
I felt like I needed to get away
Even for a day
So I called my friends up to let them know
So tonight until the break of dawn
There's a party goin' on
(It's time) It's time
(Relax your mind)
(It's time)
(Relax your mind)
Get your forties and your blunts
Roll 'em anywhere you want
Let's get a session goin' on so we can get on up
Get your forties and blunts
(It's time)
Get your forties and blunts (Relax your mind)
(It's time)
(Relax your mind)
Get your forties and your blunts
Roll 'em anywhere you want
Let's get a session goin' on so we can get on up

(It's time) It's time, it's time
(Relax your mind)
Get your forties and your blunts
Roll 'em anywhere you want
Let's get a session goin' on so we can get on up
It's time, it's time to relax your mind
Come and swing
There's a party goin' on
I have so much stress on me, so much stress on me
Get your forties and your blunts
Roll 'em anywhere you want
Let's get a session goin' on so we can get on up
It's time, it's time

The song "It's Time" by Blue Raspberry is about taking a break from the hecticness of life and relaxing with friends. The lyrics describe a hot summer day where the temperature is a hundred and two and the singer is feeling stressed out from the whole week. She decides to call her friends and have a party from "the night until the break of dawn." The chorus says "it's time to relax your mind" and encourages listeners to get their forties and blunts and roll them anywhere they want to get lifted.
In the second verse, the singer expresses her happiness to see everyone having a good time and advises them to leave their troubles behind. The song continues to encourage people from different regions to come together and swing. Overall, this song is about taking time for self-care, connecting with friends, and having fun. It's a reminder to let go of stress and enjoy the moment.

this soundtrack is so fucking epic. I listened to this straight through 8-track style like a G. One of the best movies ever, with a soundtrack that backs it up. couldn't have done it better myself.
