WOOOOW! I had this 78 back when I was a kid & played it to death till my brother decided to smack me on the butt with it & broke it! I have collected records for 25 years & only saw a 45 version (back in the 50's "singles" were simultaneously released in both "standard" 78 RPM format & the "new 45 RPM" formats for those who were rich enough to own a modern record player) once at a 2nd hand store, but had no money to buy it as it was in a "platter-Pak" 45 case w/ 74 other records & the guy would only sell as a package deal for $100! I saved up for a month & when I went to buy it, he had sold it! I have been to literally hundreds of yard sales, record shows, etc since & have YET to find it! SO...it was really great hearing it again, but it just sounds TOO clean & pristine to me! Sorry, but these old songs are MEANT to sound like an old record! That's how they were released! NOT all "digitally remastered" to take out any "imperfections" (those "imperfections" were part of the original....so...on & on we go cd vs. record. I myself never have & never WILL own a cd, dvd or a mp3! I want a disc to put on the spinning platter of my 1957 Magnavox record player (with tubes in it!) & want to set the needle on it & hear it just as it was meant to be heard 60 years ago LOL ;) THANKS for posting, tho...@ least I got to hear it again & for that i am grateful! ;)
So Rockabilly
