Sinclar is famous for popularizing the "french touch" of house music, with heavy use of sampled and filtered disco strings. His track "Feel For You", a tribute to french musician Cerrone, from his second album Champs Elysées, hit #9 in the UK Top 40. On track "Darlin'", he worked with vocalist James "D-Train" Williams.
Sinclar has also worked under other pseudonyms. Under the aliases The Mighty Bop and Reminiscence Quartet, he has dabbled in hip-hop and acid jazz. He also created the Africanism project, where an ensemble of artists produce house music with a combination of latin, jazz, african and tribal flavors. In 2005 he scored a hit with his single "Love Generation", that reached #1 on the Australian ARIA Singles Charts and the German Media Control Single Charts in 2006. The song was a huge success throughout Europe, also peaking at no. 2 in the Dutch Top 40. The followup hit was "World, Hold On", that features Steve Edwards and also managed to chart in the top ten in most of the European countries. "Rock This Party (Everybody Dance Now)" followed on August 22, 2006.
The remix of "World, Hold on" by E-Smoove is nominated for a Grammy 2007 in the category "Remixed Recording". Also, "World Hold on" was chosen by Billboard Magazine as the number one Hot Dance Club Play Single of 2006, beating Madonna and Christina Aguilera.
The fourth single of the album 'Western Dream' called 'Tennessee' was supposed to be released in April 2007, but has been cancelled due to the rumour of a new album being released.
That album was Soundz of Freedom. It came out in May 2007.
His latest album is Born In 69, released 2 years after the last album, May 2009. The first single of the album was LaLa Song, together with Sugarhill Gang

Every time I sit and watch the news
Said a prayer for a few
I guess the rest is up to you
I can feel their pain and suffering
We tough it out and rough it in
When it comes to love (when it comes to love)
When it comes to peace (when it comes to peace)
You can risk it all and stand for something you believe in
We can win this race (race)
Smiles on every face
Hear me when I say
We are on our way
I′m on my way-eeyay-eeyay
I'm on my way
I can feel the power when united
I′m on my way-eeyay
I can feel it, I can feel it
I'm on my way
I can feel the power when united
I'm on my way-eeyay
I can feel it, I can feel it, hey
I′m on my way
I′m on my way-eeyay
I can feel it, I can feel it
I'm on my way
I′m on my way-eeyay
I can feel it, I can feel it
There can be no dawn without the sun
No matter where you run
It shines on everyone
I feel it through the pigment of my skin
We've been through thick and thin
Only one way we can win it all for love (win it all for love)
Win it all through peace (win it all through peace)
Win it if we stand and fight for something we believe in
We can win this race (race)
Smiles on every face
Hear me when I say
We are on our way
I′m on my way
I'm on my way
I can feel the power when united
I′m on my way-eeyay
I can feel it, I can feel it
I'm on my way
I can feel the power when united
I'm on my way-eeyay
I can feel it, I can feel it
I′m on my way-eeyay, yeah
I′m on my way, yeah
I'm on my way, yeah
I′m on my way, yeah
I'm on my way
I′m on my way-eeyay
I can feel it, feel it
I'm on my way
I′m on my way-eeyay
I can feel it, feel it
The lyrics of Bob Sinclar's "I'm On My Way" are a rallying call for unity, perseverance, and belief in oneself. The song starts with the singer saying that every time they watch the news, they say a prayer and hope that something good will come out of it. However, the rest, they acknowledge, is up to the listener. This reflects the idea that, while it is important to have hope and faith, actions are needed to bring about change.
The lyrics go on to talk about the power of unity and how it can help people overcome any obstacle. The singer says that they can feel the power when everyone is united and they're on their way to success. This part of the song emphasizes the importance of coming together in difficult situations, supporting one another, and standing up for what you believe in.
The singer also talks about the importance of love and peace in bringing about positive change in society. They say that when it comes to love and peace, it is all or nothing, and we need to risk everything to stand up for what is right. This reinforces the idea that change requires sacrifice and that it is important to always keep the bigger picture in mind.
Overall, "I'm On My Way" is an uplifting song that emphasizes the importance of coming together, persevering, and believing in yourself and your cause.
