You can't tell me you don't love bobby,
No more, no more
You can't tell me you don't miss bobby,
You can't tell me you don't love bobby,
You can't tell me you don't miss bobby,
You can't tell me you don't love bobby,
No more, no more
You can't tell me you don't miss bobby,
You can't tell me you don't love bobby,
No more, no more (bobby, you can't tell me you don't miss bobby)
The lyrics to Bobby Valentino's song Intro are essentially an assertion of his own worthiness as an artist. Bobby is confident that his fans miss him and love him, and he repeats this sentiment throughout the song. The repetition of the same phrase creates a powerful effect, almost like a mantra or a chant. Through this repetition, Bobby is pushing back against any critics who may doubt his talent or his relevance in the music industry. He is essentially saying, "You can't tell me you don't miss or love me because you do."
Furthermore, the use of his own name in the song adds to the sense of self-assurance and self-promotion. By repeating his name, Bobby is creating a kind of brand for himself, one that he hopes will be recognized and remembered by his fans. He is also demonstrating his own importance in the music industry, as if to say, "I am Bobby Valentino, and you cannot ignore me." In short, the lyrics to Intro are an unapologetic proclamation of Bobby's talent and success, and a challenge to anyone who doubts him.
