The duo was formed in 1983, and consisted of Norwegian Hanne Krogh and Swedish-Norwegian Elisabeth Andreassen.

Bobbysocks was disbanded in 1988; however, Hanne and "Bettan" (Andreassen) still occasionally appear on stage together. In October 2005, they made a guest appearance at Congratulations, the show celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Eurovision Song Contest.

In 2010 Bobbysocks celebrated their 25th anniversary by released a compilation album and performing several concerts.

Nydelig! Har ikke hørt denne sangen på flere år, men den vekker barndomsminner om lange, koselige bilturer. Jeg brukte nesten opp alt av batteriet på jobb i dag for å høre på denne (mobilen i lomma og hodetelefoner mens jeg jobbet). Vet ikke hvor mange ganger denne videoen ble spilt av, men jeg hørte bare på denne i hele dag. Og jeg er ikke lei. 😊💝
