The name Bodh'aktan (pronounced Bod Ak Tan), is inspired by a Gaelic term for fisherman's boots or by the french pronunciation for the famous Acton boots Botte Acton. Many of the members wear kilts during their live and very energetic stage performances creating raucous party music using traditional and modern instruments.

Passant par Paris
Vidant la bouteille
Un de mes amis
Me dit à l′oreille
Bon bon bon
Le bon vin m'endort
Le bon vin m'endort
L'amour me réveille encore
Il va boir′ bouteille
Il va voir sa belle
On courtise ta belle
Je me fie en elle
La fleur la plus belle
Gréé de dentelles
Tous les trois capitaines
L′autre à la Rochelle
Courtisant les belles
Mon Dieu qu'elle est belle
12 – Et l′père est ici
Qui hal' la ficelle
The song Passant par Paris by Bodh'Aktan tells the story of a group of friends who pass through Paris and enjoy the pleasures that the city and its wine have to offer. The opening line, "Vidant la bouteille" translates to "Emptying the bottle," setting the tone for the song's alcohol-fueled celebration. The song then describes one of the friends whispering "Bon bon bon" in another's ear, a moment of shared enjoyment and camaraderie.
The next lines speak to the effects of wine and love, with the repetition of "Le bon vin m'endort/L'amour me réveille" meaning "Good wine puts me to sleep/Love wakes me up." The song continues with a mention of one friend going to see his lover while the others court beautiful women. Despite their pursuits, there is a sense of trust between them, symbolized by the line "Je me fie en elle" meaning "I trust her."
The final lines introduce a father figure who is "hal' la ficelle," meaning he is pulling the strings, overseeing or controlling the situation. This line, along with the rest of the song, paints a picture of friends living in the moment, enjoying the pleasures of life, and trusting in each other's company.
