Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polka Dot Bikini
Bombalurina Lyrics
She was afraid to come out of the locker
She was as nervous as she could be
She was afraid to come out of the locker
She was afraid that somebody would see
(Two, three, four, tell the people what she wore)
It was an itsy bitsy teenie weenie yellow polka-dot bikini
That she wore for the first time today (oh yeah)
An itsy bitsy teenie weenie yellow polka-dot bikini
So in the locker she wanted to stay
She was afraid to come out in the open
And so a blanket around her she wore
She was afraid to come out in the open
And so she sat bundled up on the shore
(Two, three, four, tell the people what she wore)
It was an itsy bitsy teenie weenie yellow polka-dot bikini
That she wore for the first time today
An itsy bitsy teenie weenie yellow polka-dot bikini
So in the blanket she wanted to stay
(Two, three, four, stick around we'll tell you more)
Now she's afraid to come out of the water
And I wonder what she's gonna do
Now she's afraid to come out of the water
And the poor little girl's turnin' blue
(Two, three, four, tell the people what she wore)
It was an itsy bitsy teenie weenie yellow polka-dot bikini
That she wore for the first time today
An itsy bitsy teenie weenie yellow polka-dot bikini
So in the water she wanted to stay
From the locker to the blanket
From the blanked to the shore
From the shore to the water
Guess there isn't anymore

Timmy Mallett, if you were an 80’s kid, you know how iconic he was at the time.

@Ken donnis As fellow "80's" kids, you all need to YT - Kung Fury, 80's kids dream action film; anyone who has seen it will also recommend it; it's a flawless film;. No need to thank me afterwards, I already know! :D
For anyone who has already seen it (+ those that haven't) -
Kung Fury 2 Nov 2021!! :O
... having reminded myself of it I know what I'm watching next!!

@Ian Brown I agree with Ken (also '81), yes we're nostalgically biased, but even subjectively, you could argue the 80's, and 90's were better!

I was 12 when this came out. When I was with my dad in the car this came on the radio. He said to me 'You like this song don't you?' and turned up the radio volume. Seems like yesterday when this came out (I am 42 now)
