Ton Van Bergeyk (Guitar), Lucas Asselberts (Piano), Gert-Jan Blom (Bass), Lucas van Merwijk (Percussion), Bart Boyeng (Clarinet, Sax (Alto), Sopranino), Wouter VanBemmel (Trumpet, Flugelhorn), Roland Brunt (Clarinet, Flute, Sax (Tenor)), Jaap Brons (Trombone, Tuba), Esther Apituley (Violin), Lidy Groenewegen (Violin), Egbert Kreiken (Violin), Rudolf Nottrot (Violin), Marielle Tromp (Vocals), Frank VanTijn (Vocals), Marijn Wijnands (Vocals), Carine Wintermans (Vocals).
An air of decadence and the oldfashion clear sound of the 30ties and 40ties blows though this music. The orchestra has both male and female singers. Eventhough they have slight of a Dutch (the Netherlands) accent, this does not degrade the music at all and gives it a bit of the West European sound of between the 2 World War's.

Boulevard of Broken Dreams Lyrics

I walk a lonely road
The only one that I have ever known
Don't know were it goes
But it's home to me and I walk alone
I walk this empty street
On the Boulevard of broken dreams
Were the city sleeps
I walk alone I walk alone
I walk alone and I walk a-
My shadows the only one that walks beside me
My shallow hearts the only thing that's beating
Sometimes I wish someone out there will find me
'Till then I'll walk alone
Ah.ah.
I'm walking down the line
That divides me somewhere in my mind
On the border line of the edge
And where I walk alone
Read between the lines
What's fucked up and everything's alright
Check my vital signs to know I'm still alive
And I walk alone
I walk alone I walk alone
I walk alone and I walk a-
My shadows the only one that walks beside me
My shallow hearts the only thing that's beating
Sometimes I wish someone out there will find me
'Till then I'll w
alk alone
The lyrics to Boulevard of Broken Dreams express feelings of loneliness and isolation, with the singer feeling like they are the only one walking down their path in life. The opening line, "I walk a lonely road, the only one that I have ever known" sets the tone for the rest of the song, with the singer admitting that they don't know where their path is leading them but that it feels like home to them. The imagery of walking on the Boulevard of Broken Dreams, where the city sleeps and the singer is the only one around, further emphasizes the feelings of isolation and loneliness. The repeated refrain of "I walk alone" reinforces the idea that the singer is on their own in their journey through life.
The lyrics also hint at a sense of desperation and a longing for connection. The line "sometimes I wish someone out there will find me" suggests that the singer wants to be found, to have someone to share their journey with. However, until that happens, they will continue to walk alone. The reference to "my shallow heart" as the only thing that's beating indicates that the singer is struggling emotionally and may be dealing with feelings of depression or hopelessness.
Overall, the lyrics to Boulevard of Broken Dreams paint a vivid picture of a person who feels alone and disconnected from the world around them, searching for a sense of purpose and connection.
