Coll started his professional career with The Polka Dots and The Plattermen (one of Ireland's most enduring showbands) before starting his own band The Buckaroos in 1968. Among the many highlights of Coll's was the band's appearance in 1969 at the Carnegie Hall in New York alongside top American country stars Johnny Cash and Buck Owens.

I have been a fan of Brians for over 40 years now.I think that he is the best country singer that Ireland has ever produced. Its a pitty we dont hear him more often on the radio.I have went to see him many times over the years.This is a very good version of the song.
