05-Anybody Out There
Burlap To Cashmere Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Sometimes while I'm driving
Trying to find my song
Looking for the answers
And where I do belong
Finally the children are
Bringin' me back home

[Chorus]
Is there anybody out there
Does anybody care
Are the people really there
Is there anybody seeking
Does anybody see
Or are they deaf and dumb like me

Sometimes when I'm drivin'
Lookin' for my song
Lookin' for the answers
And where I do belong
And Finally the children are
Bringin' me back home

[Chorus]

Sometimes when I'm drivin'
Still lookin' for my song
Lookin' for the answers
And where I do belong
Yes, and Finally sweet Jesus is
Bringin' me back home

[Chorus]

Is there anybody out there
Does anybody care
Are the people really there
Is there anybody seekin'

Does anybody see
That he died upon a tree

There was a night in my life about 3 years ago when my dad got drunk and violent and after my parents got divorced. He got drunk on my birthday and he hadn’t previously drank for a long time before that cause he is scary when drunk and I had friends over and they were out at risk and I want to never forgive him. After my mom moved out he started playing this song a lot and this song has a special place in my heart. Because it meant a lot for me. Hearing it helped distract me from my dads depression and anger and neglect. It helped me forget that night and just think about Jesus and it’s always going to be special to me.

Give it to God! And trust his word! Give it to God and don’t pray about it again! One you give it to Hod you don’t Ha e to pray about it again! I’m o e of those people yes I thought I gave it to God! But i kept praying the same thing over and over! Then I realized I gave it to Hod but kept jerking it back ! You only need to pray to God once! Not over and over! And once I learned that and waited on God he answered my pray not in my will but his will! .. and I was totally blown away!
