What do you see
What do you see in the garden
A tree
A tall, tall tree
I see a tall, tall tree, in the garden
What do you see
What do you see
A flower
A pretty flower
I see a pretty flower, in the garden
What do you see
What do you see
What do you see in the garden
A tree
A tall, tall tree
I see a tall, tall tree, in the garden
What do you see
What do you see
What do you see in the garden
A flower
A pretty flower
I see a pretty flower, in the garden
"In The Garden" by CAT LEE & Co is a simple and whimsical song that explores the wonders of nature through the eyes of a curious observer. The repetitive structure of the song creates a sense of childlike wonder and encourages listeners to pay attention to the beauty around them.
The lyrics begin with the question "What do you see?" repeated three times, inviting the listener to imagine themselves in a garden and observe its contents. The first response to the question is "A tree, a tall, tall tree." This line conveys the presence of a majestic and towering tree in the garden, perhaps symbolizing strength and stability. The repetition of this line emphasizes the prominence and significance of the tree.
The second response introduces a different element: "A flower, a pretty flower." Here, the focus shifts to a delicate and beautiful flower, illustrating the variety and diversity of nature. The use of the adjective "pretty" suggests that the flower is visually pleasing and may evoke feelings of happiness and joy. Like the previous stanza, this line is also repeated, reinforcing the image of the flower in the listener's mind.
The song continues with the same pattern of questioning and answering, alternating between the tree and the flower. This repetition creates a rhythmic structure and allows for a meditative experience, as the listener is encouraged to contemplate the wonders of nature in the garden.
