In My World
CHROM Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Make it save and don't look back
You can feel it's time to change
Although you're lost you still go on
There's no time to suffer
It may be the last day here on Earth
If you want to be
Just believe
And spread my word
I've come to see
Through your eyes
Find the curse
Of all your lies
Feeling numb and incomplete
This is more than you can take
No one came to see you cry
Just breathe in and make believe
You can reach up higher
Cause I will guide you through the day
The lyrics to Chrom's song In My World can be interpreted as an uplifting message to those struggling in life. The first verse speaks to the difficulty of the world and the need for perseverance. It encourages the listener to find a way to navigate the harshness of reality and to move forward with purpose. The following line suggests that despite feeling lost, one should continue pushing forward. The final two lines of the verse convey a sense of urgency, with the idea that tomorrow is never promised and one should make the most of each day.
The chorus of the song is an invitation to the listener to join the singer's world. It is a call to believe in oneself and to spread positivity. The second half of the chorus expresses the desire to see through the eyes of the listener and to help them break free from the curse of their own falsehoods. The final verse speaks to the feeling of hopelessness that can often accompany struggles in life. It encourages the listener to overcome those feelings and reach for something greater. The final line is a reminder that they are not alone, and that they have a guide to help them along the way.
Overall, the song's lyrics convey a sense of hope and encouragement to those struggling in life. They offer the idea that, despite difficulties, we can always strive to be better and that we don't have to face our struggles alone.
