The bass power, impact and energy of EBM are fused with the airy, technoid elements of futurepop and the lush melodies of synthpop to a versatile and compact sound that creates its very own niche in between bands like VNV Nation or Solitary Experiments.
2) Chrom is a New York duo started in 2003 comprised of Chris Kapica on bass and Tom Nasca on guitar. Influences are from jazz, prog rock, alternative rock and classic rock with a reversal of roles - the bass is the lead instrument and improviser in Chrom. Currently inactive.

Losing Myself
CHROM Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
And all see is her
She is the one
The woman I prefer
It's taking my mind
The moment she is near
Finally I'm breaking inside
The time to disappear
I'm losing myself
For the last time
Try to find out
What it's like
I'm losing myself
For the last time
Hope that you will
Be mine
I'm losing myself
For the last time
Try to find out
What it's like
And I try to be not scared
For the last time
Open my eyes
All the time
Now I regret
The things that I have done
Everything that I've said
Just make me wanna run
They say it's absurd
That she could love a creep
Don't wanna hear a word
Don't wanna fall too deep
Chrom's song "Losing Myself" is a story of infatuation and regret. The singer is completely consumed by his desire for a woman who is always on his mind. He expresses his fear of being too invested in this person and losing himself to the point of disappearing. He is struggling to maintain a sense of clarity and awareness, admitting that he feels like he is losing himself entirely. The song is sung with a combination of melancholy, desperation and romanticism as the singer hopes that the object of his affection could be his.
The song's lyrics describe the desperate and sometimes self-destructive nature of obsession. The singer has become so fixated on this woman that he is unable to think of anything else. He struggles to maintain his sense of self as he falls deeper into his feelings for her. The lyrics also touch on the fear of rejection and the pain of unrequited love. The singer regrets his past actions, feeling that his behavior has made him unlovable. He is afraid of being abandoned or rejected by the very person he desires.
In conclusion, "Losing Myself" by Chrom is a reflection of the darker side of love. It highlights the desperation and despair that can come with obsession while capturing the emotional pain that comes with rejection and unrequited love.

Phenomenal sound. Good vocals. Lyrics are simple but it doesn't matter cause it's so common for Future Pop bands.
