Why not believe in flee?
You got to believe
I mean you got to believe in something, right? Why not?
Why not believe in flee? (Flee, flee, flee)
You got to believe
Poverty, nah, I wasn't understanding it (nope)
My building look abandoned so Cam had to abandon it (peace)
Now to get in my crib, you need a laminate (hello)
It's me, flee, the car all pink (all pink)
Two door, take your bitch with one wink (hey baby)
Location where the black rich niggas link
Move a couple bricks a month in case the ship ever sink
Waste load, three quarter, phone left, mink (ta da)
(Cam'ron gettin' money?) well, as sure as shit stink
The white real soft so we call the shit "Powder Puff"
Two chains on, yeah, we made our mama's proud of us (hey mama)
Seven dirty rods so please, don't get loud with us (talk nice)
Eleven word for anybody who doubted us
You got to believe in something
Why not believe in flee?
You got to believe (flee) in something (ah, yeah, ah, yeah)
Why not believe in flee? (Ah, yeah, ah, yeah, yeah), listen
You got to believe
Fl-flee fours, knitted sweaters over new cotton
Don't talk, I ask, nigga, why ain't you poppin'?
Now it's opportunity, don't matter who's watchin'
Play ball, sell drugs nigga, (you got to believe) I had two options
Knowing this, I turned that to a few options
I ain't show you how to get your boo poppin' (facts)
Or to get your whole crew poppin'? (Why though?)
So you ain't have to be crew hoppin'
I'm known to 'cause a frenzy
'Cause you see me in the Bentley
Suede seats, sand roof please don't think it's nothin' friendly
All red, the Benzy
I get head, Lewinsky
I mean the real Lewinsky
I wouldn't bet against me (flee)
Why not believe in flee?
You got to believe in something (something)
Why not believe in flee? (Flee)
You got to believe in something (something)
Why not believe in flee? (Flee)
You got to believe
The lyrics to Cam'ron's song "Believe In Flee" convey a message of self-belief and empowerment. The repetition of the phrase "you got to believe" emphasizes the importance of having faith in something, and the artist suggests that believing in "flee" is a valid choice.
In the first verse, Cam'ron reflects on his past experiences with poverty and his determination to overcome it. He highlights the contrast between his current success and the abandoned building he used to live in. Having managed to leave that situation behind, he asserts his confidence and pride. The mention of a pink car and his ability to attract women demonstrates his newfound status and success.
The second verse delves deeper into Cam'ron's journey towards success. He talks about taking advantage of opportunities and making choices that led him to a better life. He mentions having different options, including playing sports or engaging in illegal activities, but weaves an encouraging narrative about turning those choices into positive outcomes. Cam'ron also warns those who doubt and underestimate him that they will be proven wrong, expressing self-assurance and a desire to prove his worth.
Overall, these lyrics convey a sense of determination, resilience, and confidence. Cam'ron encourages listeners to believe in something, and in this case, he suggests that believing in "flee" represents his own story of overcoming hardships and achieving success. By sharing his experiences, he hopes to inspire others to believe in themselves and pursue their goals.
