Until You Come Back to Me

I sit and wait in vain
I guess I'll rap on your door
Tap on your window pane
I want to tell you baby
The changes I've been going through
Missing you
Listen you
That's what I'm gonna do
Why did you have to decide
You had to set me free
I'm gonna swallow my pride
I'm gonna beg you to (please baby please) see me
I'm gonna walk by meself
Just to prove that my love is true
Oh, for you baby
'Till you come back to me
That's what I'm gonna do
Living for you my dear
Is like living in a world of constant fear
In my plea, I've got to make you see
That our love is dying
Although your phone you ignore
Somehow I must explain
I'm gonna rap on your door
Tap on your window pane
I'm gonna camp on your step
Until I get through to you
I've got to change your view baby
'Till you come back to me
That's what I'm gonna do
The lyrics of Camile Velasco's song "Until You Come Back to Me" expresses the feeling of longing for someone who has already left. The singer waits in vain for the person to return and is willing to do whatever it takes to reconcile. The verse, "Living for you my dear, is like living in a world of constant fear," suggests that the singer's happiness and well-being are tied to the return of this person. The chorus, "Listen you, 'til you come back to me, that's what I'm gonna do," shows the enduring commitment of the singer to the person they are singing to.
The second verse indicates that the person has left the singer, causing them to feel hurt and rejected. The line, "Why did you have to decide, you had to set me free," implies that the decision to leave was not mutual. The singer is willing to put aside their pride and make an effort to repair the relationship. The lyrics, "I'm gonna camp on your step, until I get through to you," suggests that the singer is persistent and will not give up until they are heard.
The song captures the pain of unrequited love, the longing for someone who has left, and the desire to reconcile. It perfectly captures the emotions that many people feel when going through a difficult breakup.
