Hello! Glad you brought this up, so I developed ringworm again for the third time today. the two other times I got ringworm, it happened right after I was on Bactrim.

1st time (3 years ago) I was on bactrim I developed ring worm a day after

2nd time (2 years ago) on bactrim once again for a urinary tract infection and devolved it again a day after.

This is the third time the fungal infection on my neck came back (same spot also) and I just started taking bactrim yesterday due to another uti

Not sure why bactrim is causing my uti

Same here. Im battling depression everyday by this fucking fungal infection. I went to a dermatologist and they gave me ointments and capsules and it is effective, but expensive here in the Philippines. But now that I don't have these anymore, they start to attack me again. It's so expensive guys here, please help me with my treatments I don't have money anymore to buy.

My wife ended up getting ringworm on her upper cheek right by her left eye. And in finding out that nystatin is not effective, I'm getting a little worried for the fact our family doctor put her on it. If it doesn't clear up, she has to get another type of treatment cream of the ones you mentioned. Thank you for this great information

Your video helped me out soooo much! You explain everything so perfect! I have fungal infection that would clear up a little & would stop bothering me once I applied ketoconazole but as soon as I stopped applying it a few weeks later it would come right back. I developed it inside my growing area after shaving one time. At 1st I had no clue what it was. To say the least it took me about 6 months to finally get rid of it. I would do these 2 week courses thinking it was gone & it would come right back. It was sooo irritating. It also was continuing to grow little by little. After trying all the cremes in the world finally one home remedy did the trick. I started to apply garlic on the surface. After 2 weeks of applying it once a day it completely killed the fungus. Now can you please explain why garlic would kill the fungus verses all the cremes I tried????????

Me too I have had it since March and now September so about 6 month and no cream have treats it only doesn’t let it spread. Also I took pills and it doesn’t work. I will try the garlic! Sorry for my English it’s my second language.

Any damage to the skin surface, such as a cut or graze, can also encourage fungi to grow. Also, there are chances of having ringworm from animals such as cats or dogs.

Thank you for saying it so clearly and concisely. My baby had a liver transplant and the medication she HAS TO take twice per day, for as long as she has that organ, is an imunnosuppressant drug so her body won't reject the liver. Also she's been on many antibiotics from several hospital acquired infections. She struggles w yeast almost daily. The Nystatin cream or powder is useless and burns her so bad. I asked about giving her probiotics and they mentioned SIBO. They don't want to do anything until it becomes a serious problem. Well it's not fair to her. She's miserable so to me that's a problem. Sorry for ranting. Any suggestions❓❓❓ thank you😁👍👍

Very ice and quite clear video. If the fungus does not have roots in your skin. I wonder why doesn't the cream kill them overnight since they are only on top of the skin and the cream just eradicate them overnight since the cream touches all of them as soon as you put the cream on your skin ☹🙁

Just found my first sign of ringworm yesterday. Ive never had it before but in almost 100% sure that this is what it is. Since i noticed it yesterday ive started freezing it with liquid nitrogen similar to freezing a wart. I take a silicone puck that fits over the ring perfectly and fill it with liquid nitrogen then cover it over the area and let it sit for a few seconds. Since ive started this freezing process the redness has decreased and itchiness has decreased. White patches have disappeared and skin is going back to a smooth surface. The outter ring has turned into a scab instead of just a red ring. Im not sure how successful my attempts at freeze treating ringworm will be but if i get somewhere then hell yes. If not then oh well ill find another treatment.

as a kid,i had a ringwork on my right side of my head.
my mom just went to a doc,got the meds and it was some type of liquid that made my ringwork burn bad as hell,but parts of the ringworm fell off while i sat on a chair outside,until the day the thing just went away.

i was happy afterwards :D

I realise that I'm an idiot for doing this but I stroke stray cats all the time, I stoked one a week ago and now I have ringworm rash all over my neck , armpit and abomen at this stage it's not itching.
I have a weak immune system and asthma so I guess that's why I have it and my partner who shares my bed doesn't have it.
I'm using a fungicide cream to help (basically all over my upper body) but I'm worried it's all over house, in my mattress and in the pillows! Even if I'm cleaning my sheets and towels every day It's made me very nervous that it will survive in many surfaces and I will keep getting reinfected! Will it ever go away?

I also have asthma, and have had mine in my knee for 2 months now. Yet, mine is very itchy and it hurts if I scratch. I didn't know that's what I ha I thought it was eczema 🤦🏻‍♀️. No one in my family has gotten it since I've had it, thank God. I went to the doctor cause mine kept growing. And got some antifungal ointment and oral pills. I hope that takes it away. I hope yours went away quickly.

my cat had "ringworm" for 2 years, and I never got it. Do not kill your pets if they have ringworm. If you have a good immune system, then nothing will happen to you.
What I learned from a medical doctor who has become a naturopath is: if you have fungus outside, it means it's already in your guts. Whatever you do, it'll come back => we call it a "predisposition" in allopathy, right? By treating the intestine, the results can be amazing and the fungus never comes back IF we don't create the condition for the fungus to come back in the intestines, of course!

This is what worked for me. Get the natural aloe plant from the root and rub it on your skin.See if you can find the natural aloe plant from someone who grows it. I didn't get any fake type of aloe. I got the natural aloe. I rubbed it on my skin for about 2 minutes from the back of the aloe and not with my hand and I let it sit for 2 hours and washed out with warm water.Some days I let it sit for a day. My hair was clean before I tried this. It has been working for me. Aloe is an anti fungal. I have been using it for 3 days, but I noticed a difference the first day. Some of it died on day 1, but all went on the 2nd day. This was a bad experience for me so I am writing to help because I know how bad it was for me. I had it for almost 4 months, but it looks like it is completely gone by the second day. I am on the third day now. It seems to be gone but I want to use for 3 weeks or two weeks just to make sure it is gone. I hope it works for you.

I used toothpaste to get rid of it and it just went away after that. That thing use to itch so much and I'm so glad it's never happen to me again. I hope your son is ok and it doesn't last a long time.

Definitely try the regular Colgate toothpaste though

Get some BORAX powder, mix it with a little water into a paste, spread the paste onto the infected area. Within 1 week, the Ringworm is gone. Rinse your bedsheets and pillow cases in cold water borax solution to kill the fungus.

ringworms are more of an infection from Animals.
Most of the time it's a dirty stray animals that carry the fungus, it won't affect you unless you touch a wound.
but often time scratches from your affected nails to the skin will cause it to develop more.

I had ringworm a few weeks ago on my forearm on the other side of my elbow but now it's gone. My Dr. Prescribed me with LAMISIL Cream for Jock itch and helps relieve itching and burning. This antifungal cream helped cure it.

I never had ringworm until I got it on my knee like 2 months ago. And it started small and now it's so much more spread. Went to the doctor and got some ointment and oral antifungal. I have no pets. Since I've had it, non of my kids or bf have gotten it, thank God. But for the love of me, I don't know how I got it. I thought it was eczema at first. I have asthma so my immune system is not the best. But I'm so weirded out that you can get it from any surface. I hate having it, so itchy and painful. Thank you for your video! Very informative.

Can you have just one ring worm spot? I'm trying to figure out what this perfectly round, red, slightly raised, almost 1 cm diameter, occasionally itchy spot is on my lower inner thigh. It's been there two weeks, hasn't gotten any bigger or changed. I had the same thing on my shin of the same leg for four months. It eventually got scaly, chunks of dead skin peeled off every so often, then disappeared although I can still see where it was...the skin looks normal but there's a circle of slightly raised skin still present. After viewing this, I'm treating the new one with ketoderm and see if it goes away quicker than the last. Hate this pandemic.

I got it on my upper legs from a toilet at work. I always put paper down but it's exactly where contact is made. Blows so bad. It comes up every summer when bacteria goes higher. Hate it.

I've had one on my thigh thats been there for a month now. Its quarter size to today. I start to form one on my face, I was like hell naw. I put Tea tree oil directly on it as soon as it start to form. It went away completely in 5 days. No scarring at all. The one on my thigh, not as effective with tea tree oil. It looks as if it wants to hell but is very stubborn. Mow I'm getting small breakouts all over my body. I'm in the process of treating those with tea tree oil as well. We recently got a cat and im assuming this is all where its coming from.

@ARMY~💜 My first original ring worm is on my thigh, when I applied the tea tree oil, it dried it out badly. It got to a point that it started to slightly scab. Im talking ashy, white round partial scab on my thigh. Today, the scabbing is almost completely gone. Maybe 10% left. (Its looking better) The new spots I have now, I have been applying TToil to them and they aren't reacting to the oil like the one on my thigh did. They remain red, but a couple of them I am seeing a tiny ash in the center. I suggest continually treating one spot and see how the oil effects that spot.

Majocchi seems to be an Italian name. When c or cc is not followed by an 'h', it's pronouned 'ch' like in 'chair'. When there is an 'h' after it, it is pronounced 'k'. That's it.
Same thing with 'g'. Exemple is Golgi, no 'h' therefore we say the 'g' like the 'j' in Jersey, for instance.

Sometimes ringworm is extremely resistant to even prescription medicine. I had it for 9 months from the gym. I tried oils like tea tree n coconut but it just caused it to spread. Even Ketoconazole prescription by itself and it barley did anything. So after trying a bunch of things I started using defense ringworm soap from Amazon, I take a shower every night and sit with the soap on my skin for 10~15 minutes then rinse off, afterwards I put on Paula’s choice BHA 2% liquid exfoliant that’s a leave on treatment to remove dead skin layer which is where the fungi live feed and grow so doing this helps to remove those layers they inbed and hide themselves in which is very important, then I place Ketoconazole anti fungal cream from my doctor on top of the exfoliant and leave that on also. It is killing them and drying out their environment while also removing the dark marks they leave behind due to the exfoliant removing those dead skin layers. Takes about a few months but these 3 things together are an extremely winning combo against resistant fungi!! Hope this helps those who are so tired of it♥️ must be consistent though and do this everyday until there is no sign of it left so at least 6~8 weeks, n more for stubborn ones.. Also stay as dry as possible fungi love humidity and sweat! Do not spread towel all over body! Fold into sections after each body part~so like wrap around upper body, fold in half then use opposite side for leg then fold that again n use other part for other legs! They hitch a ride on the cloth to other body parts :(

apply clotrimazole&beclomethasone dipropionate lotion on affected area then ketoconazole cream 2 times daily after bath

Do not scratch it -_- Lessen your sweets intake, buy sulfur soap (if it's really itchy when you are in the bath you can scratch it while using the soap I do that lol when I still have ringworms) buy Tyrocid it's an ointments 😊

there is a ring worm medication small tube cvs,,walgreens to name a few it works but its slow after a couple of tubes you can see some improvment you may gat it cheaper on the net i am using it so i know it works dont give up it says ringworm on the little box

@Haroon Liaqat ali Arshi, firstly you need to observe how big that surface is and than after apply CLOTRIMAZOLE 1% twice in day on that part and don't loos hope it's take your 2 months to clear that fungus or ringworm whatever it is but you need to apply 2 times daily, And about medicine simply you need to buy two things clotrimazole 1% cream by CIPLA products and use a infection control pills daily that both will help you to control your spreading and itching on that part and slowly slowly it'll be disappear but the marks will take atleast 6 months to normal scean

You are very right, my mom is in the same situation, she rescued a baby kitten without its mother and managed to save it but the cost was Tinea Corporis and now she is taking treatment from the dermatologist but the stress and duration of the treatment are too much. She can't go and do her balnear treatments and has to be very careful around the house. People, if you find young kittens, ESPECIALLY WITH MISSING HAIR don't touch them directly, use gloves and take them to the vet if you want but in our case, the vet was responsible because he did not point out the risk to humans, he was more concerned about the damn kitten.

Hi there! Sorry, I should have explained further. Essentially, if it is on the hand it is known as Tinea manuum. It is actually associated with tinea pedis, and it can sometimes be called "two-feet, one hand syndrome", as both feet may be affected, but only one hand is usually affected. Hope that helps :)
