One more Saturday night,
One more grey shoot,
One more happy to love,
One more Saturday night.

One more thinking you should,
One more thinking you're right,
One more thinking you love,
One more thinking you're right,

One more thinking you're bad,
One more thinking you should,
One more thinking you love,
One more thinking you're fine.

One more Saturday night,
One more Saturday night,
One more Saturday night,
One more Saturday night.

Come back, come back,
Come back, come back,
Come back, come back,
Come back, come back,

Come back, come back,
Come back, come back,
Come back, come back, come back,
Come back, come back, come back,

Come back, come back, come back,
Come back, come back, come back,
Come back, come back, come back,
Come back, come back, come back.

One more thinking you laugh,
One more thinking you laugh.
One more suck at your life,
One more suck at your life,

One more suck at your life,
One more suck at your life,
One more suck at your life,
One more suck at your life,

One more suck at your head,
One more suck at your feet,
One more suck at your eyes,
One more suck at your shed.

One more Saturday night,
One more Saturday night,
One more Saturday night,
One more Saturday night,

One more Saturday night.
One more entering head,
One more entering out,
One more entering head,

One more entering out,
One more entering head,
One more thinking you laugh,
One more thinking you laugh,

One more thinking you laugh,
One more thinking you laugh,
One more thinking you laugh,
One more thinking you laugh,

One more thinking you're down,
One more thinking you're down,
One more thinking you're down,
One more thinking you're down,

One more thinking where you go,

One more thinking where you go,
One more Saturday night, oh.

Overall Meaning

The lyrics of Can's song "One Night Stand" can be interpreted in a variety of ways. The song seems to be about the repetitive cycle of partying and indulging in drugs or alcohol. The opening lines of "One more Saturday night, one more grey shoot" suggest a weekend of debauchery and substance abuse. The repetition of "one more" throughout the song emphasizes the never-ending cycle of going out and getting high.

The following lines, "One more thinking you love, one more thinking you're bad" could suggest the effects of substance abuse on one's perception of themselves and others. The drugs or alcohol might make the person feel confident and desirable one moment, but then make them feel worthless and insecure the next. The line "One more suck at your life" could be a reference to the negative impact of addiction on one's personal and professional life, as well as their mental and physical health.

The repetition of "come back" throughout the song could also suggest a desire to return to a previous state of mind or a sense of normalcy before addiction took over. The line "one more thinking where you go" could represent the internal struggle of the person between wanting to continue the cycle of addiction and wanting to break free and find a new path.

Overall, the song is a stark representation of the destructive nature of addiction and the cycle of highs and lows that it can create.

Ugh... All these people praising OP.
Like your desire for the female comfort of an exclusive long term relationship is somehow more valid than the guy you described desiring the male comfort of a physical connection.

OP doesn't "deserve" anything from that guy, certainly not his commitment to an ltr.

Just like the guy doesn't "deserve" anything for OP, including physical intimacy.

They could have had a relationship with some intimacy and some commitment, but that wasn't good enough for OP.
Fine then, the guy will go elsewhere for what he desires. And good luck to OP in finding another guy that makes her tingle.

Nice video.
I reacted the same way in a similar situation.

It's difficult for me not to.
I'm a sex addict, but I'm also...demisexual...at least that's the label that gets thrown at me.
So it's impossible for me to be attracted enough to someone for me to be physically intimate with them unless I feel some deeper bond with them outside "well, were both horny AF...so let's just ** each other."

I guess the real problem, for me, is that my addiction gets so bad that I end up seeing connections that aren't really there, and therefore just end up feeling used & abandoned when they inevitably dump me.

Hmm...maybe the problem factor in my relationships IS me.

Reminds me what Trevor said in The Daily Show: Sex is getting riskier. You can catch HIV. You can catch COVID 19, and worst of all, you can catch feelings.

I’m one of those people too. I just don’t do casual hookups. Not that that’s bad or anything, it’s just not how I do things. I prefer physical intimacy as a way to manifest existing emotional intimacy and to further it, because emotional intimacy (trust, respect, teamwork/problem solving skills, etc) is the thing that helps long lasting relationships thrive, and I tend to look more forward to the future. Again, this doesn’t mean that casual hookups are bad for other people, everyone has different preferences, it’s fine so long as people are being safe and it’s consensual, etc.

I love how women say "i don't do that"... Because that's EXACTLY what they do. LoL
