When it came to it, there was only one approach in order to create the sound that they had in mind for what it would turn out to be "El Tiempo y la Ciudad" ("The Time and The City"). That was to grab a van and start an epic journey from Tijuana all the way to Eudora, Kansas, drenching themselves in roads, landscapes, sunsets and songs.
Produced by Robb McLean from Limbeck and mixed by Ed Rose (Motion City Soundtrack, Get Up Kids, Reggie and the Full Effect), the twelve tracks that compose this album.

Canseco Lyrics

The above lyrics are from the song "Referéndum" by the Mexican band Canseco. The song highlights the struggles faced by the youth of Mexico who are tired of the monotonous songs played on the radio and the glamorized, biased news on TV. The band expresses their concern about how the media is failing to provide any meaningful content and is only focused on financial gain.
The band's message is crystal clear in the lyrics, "Hay algo muy mal en la television, y en el radio no hay nada, es la misma canción" (There's something wrong with television, and there's nothing on the radio, it's the same old song). The song urges people to speak up and come together to bring a change in Mexico for a better future.
The lyrics also emphasize that change can only happen if everyone works together, "Solo juntos podremos buscar la solución, para cambiar México debo cambiar yo y tu y tu y tu" (Only together can we find a solution, I must change myself, and so must you and you and you, to change Mexico). The song's message is powerful and portrays the need for the Mexican youth to step up and bring a change in their society.
