Agua De Beber
Carola Lyrics

Que só me deu desilusão
É que o amor é uma tristeza
Muita mágoa demais para um coração
Água de beber
Água de beber camará
Água de beber
Eu quis amar, mas tive medo
E quis salvar meu coração
Mas o amor sabe um segredo
O medo pode matar o seu coração
Água de beber
Água de beber camará
Água de beber
Água de beber camará
Eu nunca fiz coisa tão certa
Entrei pra escola do perdão
A minha casa vive aberta
Abri todas as portas do coração
Água de beber
Água de beber camará
Água de beber
Água de beber camará
Carola's song "Água de beber" is a beautiful yet melancholic ode to love and heartbreak. Through her lyrics, she shares her personal journey of discovering that love can bring both joy and sorrow. She starts by expressing her belief that love always leads to disappointment, suggesting that her previous experiences with love have resulted in nothing but sadness. However, she then goes on to sing about how she still wanted to love, but was held back by fear, afraid to expose her heart to the pain of heartbreak.
The song's chorus, where she repeats "Água de beber camará," is a tribute to the power of water as a healing element, something that can cleanse and refresh the soul. She talks about how seeking out this healing water, whether metaphorical or literal, can help overcome the fear of love and bring peace to the heart.
Carola ends the song by declaring that she has found a way to make peace with love, by opening herself up to forgiveness and letting go of the pain in her heart. She speaks of her home being open to all, a place of love and acceptance, where the wounds of the past can be healed.
Overall, "Água de beber" is a song of hope amidst heartbreak, a reminder that even in the face of disappointment and fear, we can still find healing and love.
