As far as I know, Artstation has not yet posted any official opinions or taken action on users who post generated images under their name.

Artists really don't like what's going on, as it's literally a scam that doesn't require skill and hinders users and other artists.

Again, it should be noted that most do not consider AI art itself to be something bad. But the fact that some people think it's normal to post it under their own name in a community of real artists is a problem.

@GOOGGZ I never told Im against the usage of AI image generating software! Its actually nice to see people using generated pictures in a creative ways, for whatever they want to. The technology is fascinating, and can be implemented in so many ways!

However, I do have a problem with people like the one whose picture Valiant used for the background. They didnt do the image specifically for given musician or music record, and they never ever stated the pic was generated using AI. It's a scam because you dont just let someone else do all the work (in this case, particular AI they used), put your author label on it and call it a day (especially, on a website dedicated to artists).
