When she was sixteen, Cairo entered the Rozentuin Festival competition. Nothing too big but enough to keep the flow going. After winning the first price she searched for more ways to perform. Now she has played at many venues in Amsterdam like Paradiso, Sugar Factory, Badcuyp, Sappho, and Rozentheater.
After a couple op EPs, Cairo launched her debut album "Free Fire" in 2016. The album was recorded in Los Angeles and produced by Bill Lefler, who also worked with Dotan and Laura Jansen.

You know me better than that
Think I'd leave you down when you′re down on your knees?
I wouldn't do that
Oh I'll tell you you′re right when you want, ahh
And if only you could see into me
I'll be there
Hold you tight to me
Oh, when you′re low
I'll be there
By your side
And when you′re on my outside, baby, and you can't get in
I will show you you′re so much better than you know
And when you're lost and you're alone
And you can′t get back again
I′ll find you
Darling I will bring you home
And if you want to cry
I am here to dry your eyes, oh
And in no time
You'll be fine
Oh, when you′re cold
I'll be there
Hold you tight to me
Oh, when you′re low
I'll be there
By your side, baby
Oh, when you′re cold
I'll be there
Hold you tight to me
Oh, when you're low
I′ll be there
By your side
The lyrics to Celine Cairo's song "By Your Side" are about being present for someone in their times of need. The opening lyrics, "You think I'd leave your side, baby? You know me better than that," set the tone for the rest of the song. The singer is assuring the person they love that they would never abandon them, especially when they are at their lowest. They remain a steadfast support system, offering comfort and love when it is most needed.
The lyrics go on to describe instances where the singer will be there for the person they love. Whether it's when they are feeling cold, alone, lost, or just need someone to cry to, they will always be there to offer a shoulder to lean on. The line "I will show you you're so much better than you know" is a particularly touching moment in the song, where the singer reminds the person they love of their worth and potential.
Overall, the lyrics to "By Your Side" speak to the importance of being present for each other during life's ups and downs. It's a song about love, support, and embracing vulnerability with open arms.
