In 2007, Ní Mhaolchatha left the group to focus on her solo career and was replaced by Hilary. Sharpe initially joined the group to fill in for Kelly who was on maternity leave, and later became a full member as a replacement for Fallon (who left to spend more time with family and record a solo work).
Since then, both Alex Sharpe and Lynn Hilary have left, making way for Lisa Lambe.
In 2013, Lisa Kelly left to pursue a teaching career at a Voice Academy she started up that year with her husband, making way for Susan McFadden for the 2013 Believe Tour.
In 2013, Chloë Agnew left to pursue solo work, making way for Máiréad Carlin.
Celtic Woman was recorded on September 15, 2004 for PBS Television in The United States at The Helix, Dublin to a sell-out audience. The show was organized by show producer Sharone Browne and musical director and composer David Downes, and produced by Dave Kavanagh. The show was first broadcast in March 2005 in The United States and within weeks the album Celtic Woman reached number one in the World Music charts in America and on Amazon.com charts. Their huge success in Asia and in America has been credited to the already successful megastar Enya and has been called "Riverdance for the Voice". As of July 22, 2006 the group has broken a long standing record in the music business. Their CD has been at the #1 position on the Billboard charts for an amazing 68 weeks.
On October 19th of that year, Celtic Woman was knocked off its No.1 spot on Billboard's World Music Charts, which it had maintained for 82 weeks, by Celtic Woman: A Christmas Celebration. This put the groups' 2 CDs at Nos. 1 and 2 respectively. Since then, Lisa Lambe has left the group to pursue a solo career.
Time to Say Goodbye

And when I dream, the words are missing
Yes, I know that in a room so full of light
That all the lights are missing
But I don't see you with me, with me
Close up the windows, bring the sun to my room
Through the door you've opened
Close inside of me the light you see
Time to say goodbye
Horizons are never far
Would I have to find them alone
Without true light of my own
With you I will go
On ships over seas that I now know
No, they don't exist anymore
It's time to say goodbye
When you were so far away
I sat alone and dreamt of the horizon
Then I knew that you were here with me, with me
Building bridges over land and sea
Shine a blinding light for you and me
To see, for us to be
Time to say goodbye
Horizons are never far
Would I have to find them alone
Without true light of my own
With you I will go
On ships over seas that I now know
No, they don't exist anymore
Without true light of my own
With you I will go
On ships over seas that I now know
No, they don't exist anymore
Without true light of my own
With you I will go
You with me
The song "Time To Say Goodbye" by Celtic Woman is a poignant and reflective ballad about the feelings of loneliness and longing that come with being separated from someone you love. The opening lines of the song highlight the sense of disconnection and isolation that can be felt even in a crowded room. The singer describes her dreams as a way of filling this emotional void, but acknowledges that even in her dreams, she feels the absence of her loved one. The imagery of light and darkness throughout the song further underscores this theme of emotional illumination and shadow.
As the song progresses, the singer expresses a desire to close off the outside world and embrace the light that her loved one embodies. She imagines traveling with him over land and sea, building bridges and exploring new horizons. The chorus, "Time to say goodbye", serves as a bittersweet reminder that this journey must come to an end, and that the horizon is never as far away as it seems. The final lines of the song reaffirm the singer's commitment to her partner, and the sense of togetherness and intimacy that they share.
Overall, "Time to Say Goodbye" is a powerful and evocative song that speaks to the universal human experience of love, loss, and the struggle to connect with others in a world full of light and darkness.

When I am alone I sit and dream
In solitude, I reminisce
And when I dream, the words are missing
In my reverie, I agonize over your absence
Yes, I know that in a room so full of light
Even though my surroundings are bright
That all the lights are missing
I cannot see you beside me
But I don't see you with me, with me
I am yearning for your company
Close up the windows, bring the sun to my room
Please let the light in, let it lift my gloom
Through the door you've opened
With you, I will always feel heartened
Close inside of me the light you see
Bring your light to me, let it be
That you met in the darkness
Found in the bleakness
Horizons are never far
My dreams are within reach
Would I have to find them alone
But finding them alone, I cannot condone
Without true light of my own
Without you, my light is gone
With you I will go
With you, I will never be alone
On ships over seas that I now know
Together, we will embark on new journeys to grow
No, they don't exist anymore
The old ways are gone forevermore
When you were so far away
When you were out of sight
I sat alone and dreamt of the horizon
I yearned for you to reunite
Then I knew that you were here with me, with me
Then I felt your presence, and it filled me with glee
Building bridges over land and sea
Together, we conquer every obstacle that be
Shine a blinding light for you and me
Together, we illuminate our destiny
To see, for us to be
We build a future we want to see
Without true light of my own
Without you, my world is unknown
With you I will go
With you, my heart will always glow
You with me
Together, we will always be
Time to say goodbye
It's time to part, but let's not cry

When I first heard this by Bocelli over a decade ago I figured someone is going to do a version in English and make a disaster of it. Celtic Woman proved me wrong.

@Nico777 No good to me. I believe that Italian is one of the most beautiful languages on Earth, but sadly, I don't share it.
