He writes columns for the British newspaper The Guardian, which include Screen Burn (a satirical look at television). Based on the success of the column, Brooker was allowed to make a television version of the column for by BBC Four, Screenwipe. He also made Newswipe (a satirical look at the news), Gameswipe (a one-off special about computer games in the Screenwipe format) and You Have Been Watching (a satirical quiz about television for Channel 4). In 2010, Charlie Brooker moved to the world of radio with BBC Radio 4's So Wrong It's Right, which allegedly celebrates "Britain's favourite subject: failure". Brooker's columns are also available in book form.

I enjoy Pointless as well, but I can only get British TV through YouTube channels, and I haven't been able to find a lot of uploads of Pointless. I've been able to watch a lot more of The Chase, and it's still my favorite.

i assumed people put on the tv on the morning to avoid falling back asleep. And the morning show my mom used to put on when I was a kid (some Finnish show) would tell you the time all the time, so you'd be aware of how much time you have left.
