Let It Snow
Chris Colfer & Darren Criss Lyrics

But the fire is so delightful,
And since we've no place to go,
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.
It doesn't show signs of stopping,
And I brought some corn for popping
The lights are turned way down low,
When we finally kiss good night,
How I'll hate going out in the storm
But if you really hold me tight,
Then all the way home I'll be warm.
The fire is slowly dying,
And, my dear, we're still good-bye-ing,
But as long as you love me so.
Let it snow, let it snow, let it, let it snow
Oh, the weather outside is frightful,
But the fire is so delightful,
And since we've no place to go,
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.
Oh, the weather outside is frightful,
But the fire is so delightful,
And since we've no place to go,
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.
But It doesn't show signs of stopping,
And I brought some corn for popping
The lights are turned way down low,
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.
When we finally kiss good night,
How I'll hate going out in the storm
But if you really hold me tight,
Then all the way home I'll be warm.
And, my dear, we're still good-bye-ing,
But as long as you love me so.
Let it snow, let it snow, let it, let it snow
Oh
Oh let it snow
Oh let it snow
The song “Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!” originally composed by lyricist Sammy Cahn and composer Jule Styne in 1945, portrays the warmth and comfort of being indoors while it’s snowing outside. The song is a classic winter and Christmas song that has been covered by several artists over the years. Chris Colfer and Darren Criss's version of the song captures the essence of the original composition while giving it a touch of their own.
The song begins with the opening line “Oh, the weather outside is frightful,” which clearly states that the weather is cold and unpleasant outside. However, the person is inside, next to the fire, which is delightful, “But the fire is so delightful.” The lyrics then imply that since there is nowhere to go, they may as well enjoy being inside, with no commitments to attend to, “And since we've no place to go, Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.” The second verse talks about the anticipation of the snowfall continuing, “It doesn't show signs of stopping, And I brought some corn for popping.” The third verse describes the fear of going outside in the snow, but if the person they are with holds them tight, they’ll feel warm and safe, “When we finally kiss good-night, How I'll hate going out in the storm, But if you really hold me tight, All the way home I'll be warm.” The fourth and final verse shows the inevitability of it all coming to an end, with the fire slowly dying, and them having to say their goodbyes, “And, my dear, we're still good-bye-ing, But as long as you love me so. Let it snow, let it snow, let it, let it snow.”

Oh, the weather outside is frightful,
The weather outside is very bad
But the fire is so delightful,
The fire inside is very comfortable
And since we've no place to go,
We don't have anywhere to go outside
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.
We don't mind if it continues to snow
It doesn't show signs of stopping,
The snowfall is not ending any time soon
And I brought some corn for popping
I brought some corn to pop and enjoy during the snowstorm
The lights are turned way down low,
The lights are dimmed to create a cozy atmosphere
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.
We want it to continue snowing
When we finally kiss good night,
When we part ways for the night
How I'll hate going out in the storm
I am dreading having to go out in the snow
But if you really hold me tight,
If you hold me close and keep me warm
Then all the way home I'll be warm.
I will feel warm and happy all the way home
The fire is slowly dying,
The fire is getting weaker
And, my dear, we're still good-bye-ing,
We are still saying goodbye and parting ways
But as long as you love me so.
As long as you love me, everything will be okay
Let it snow, let it snow, let it, let it snow.
We still want it to snow and don't mind the cold
Oh let it snow
We want the snow to continue falling

They both sounded incredible & their dance steps were beautiful to watch. They each have their own style but they perform so well together. I totally enjoyed Kurt & Blaine's Christmas celebration at their Bachelor Chalet. It was alot of fun & everyone sounded great. They each had their turn showcasing their talent. We also found out Blaine could play the harmonica & he was amazing at it. Plus it was kinda cool how they added some Star Wars into it. 😍
