Everyone's runnin'
Runnin' from faith
I would start now but it's a little too late
I'm stuck watchin' these hours turn into days
Watchin' my future, slippin away
[Bridge:]
Up in the sky
A place like deep in my heart
Beneath the scars
I know I'll find a love like mine
A love like deep in my heart
Beneath the scars
[Hook:]
Sometimes I get lonely
Sometimes I just cry
Sometimes I'm just looking in the rearview asking myself why
Sometimes we get older
Sometimes that's just life
Sometimes I'm just lookin' in the rearview asking myself why
Sometimes that's just life
Someimtes that's just life
[Verse]
I feel it comin'
But I'm not afraid
If I should die young then that's the price that I pay
I'll make amends with my exes
I'll pray my sins are erased
Just so I can breathe free
At the end of the day
[Bridge:]
But I know I'll find
Up in the sky
A place like deep in my heart
Beneath the scars
I know I'll find a love like mine
A love like deep in my heart
Beneath the scars
[Hook:]
Sometimes I get lonely
Sometimes I just cry
Sometimes I'm just lookin' in the rearview asking myself why
Sometimes we get older
Sometimes that's just life
Sometimes I'm just lookin' in the rearview asking myself why
Sometimes that's just life
Someimtes that's just life
Sometimes that's just life
[Hook:]
Sometimes I get lonely
Sometimes I just cry
Sometimes I'm just lookin' in the rearview asking myself why
Sometimes we get older
Sometimes that's just life
Sometimes I'm just lookin' in the rearview asking myself why
Sometimes that's just life
[Outro:]
Sometimes that's just life
Sometimes that's just life
Sometimes that's just life
In Chrishan's song "That's Just Life," the lyrics speak to the struggles that come with growing older and experiencing life's ups and downs. The first verse sets the tone of the song, where Chrishan sings about the feeling of being stuck and watching time pass by, while his future slips away. The bridge brings a sense of hope, despite the hardships, as it talks about finding a place deep in one's heart that provides love and healing, even beneath the scars. The hook repeats throughout the song, emphasizing that life has its lonely and difficult moments that we can't always understand or control.
The second verse brings a sense of acceptance, where Chrishan is not afraid of what's to come, even if it means paying the ultimate price. He seeks forgiveness from past relationships and sins, hoping to find freedom at the end of the day. The outro repeats the phrase "Sometimes that's just life," reminding us that life has its unpredictable moments that we must learn to accept and move forward from.
Overall, the song's message is one of resilience and acceptance. It acknowledges that life has its challenges, but with hope and self-forgiveness, we can overcome them and find love and healing amidst the struggle.
