Clay Walker (born August 19, 1969) was born and raised on a farm in Beaumont, TX, the hometown of George Jones. Walker fell in love with country music at an early age, when his father gave him a guitar when he was only nine years old. After he graduated from high school, Walker pursued a musical career full-time, playing concerts across the South, the Midwest, and Canada. For over three years, he toured and went to school, taking courses about the music business. During this time, he acted as his own manager. Eventually, he became the house singer at the Neon Armadillo bar in Beaumont. While performing at the club, producer James Stroud heard Walker and offered to work with the singer. Stroud helped Walker secure a contract with Giant Records, and the pair began working on the vocalist's debut album.
"What's It to You" became a number one hit upon its release in August of 1993, with "Live Until I Die" following it into the pole position later that same year. Both singles were featured on his debut album, Clay Walker, which was released in the fall of 1993. "Where Do I Fit in the Picture," the third single from the album, became a number 11 hit in early 1994. "White Palace" was a flop, failing to crack the Top 40, but "Dreaming With My Eyes Open" became his third number one hit in the summer of 1994, helping make his debut record a platinum album. If I Could Make a Living was not quite as successful as his debut, yet it still yielded the number one title track. Hypnotize the Moon, Walker's third album, appeared in the fall of 1995, preceded by the number two single "Who Needs You Baby." He followed with Self Portrait in 1996 and Rumor Has It in 1997. A Greatest Hits collection appeared in 1998 and a new album, Live, Laugh, Love, was released in 1999. Say No More followed two years later.
She's Always Right
Clay Walker Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Pretty when her hair's a mess
A little wine and she gets a little loud
Once or twice she's bleached my jeans
She's been known to burn the beans
But in my heart there's never been a doubt
She's right as rain on a thirsty cornfield
A cool breath of fresh air
When life tries to burn me down
She's right behind me when I doubt myself
With a little push and a hand to help
A Quiet comfort on a troubled night
Right beside me, yeah, she's always right
Well she's the first to speak her mind
Never been the quittin' kind
She likes chocolate about as much as she likes me
She likes talking on the phone
Calls the mall her second home
I love that girl
Yeah, she's just right for me
She's right as rain on a thirsty cornfield
Right on the money 'bout the way that I feel
A cool breath of fresh air
When life tries to burn me down
She's right behind me when I doubt myself
With a little push and a hand to help
A Quiet comfort on a troubled night
Right beside me, yeah, she's always right
Yeah, she's right behind me when I doubt myself
With a little push and a hand to help
A Quiet comfort on a troubled night
Right beside me, yeah, she's always right
The first verse of Clay Walker's She's Always Right describes a woman who may not be perfect, but is perfect for him. The line "She's perfect for a cotton dress" suggests that she is simple and down-to-earth, while "Pretty when her hair's a mess" implies that she doesn't need to try too hard to be attractive. However, the next line "A little wine and she gets a little loud" hints at her wild side, while "Once or twice she's bleached my jeans / She's been known to burn the beans" demonstrates that she can be a bit careless or clumsy at times. But despite these flaws, the singer loves her deeply and without hesitation.
The chorus emphasizes the woman's reliability and steadfastness, describing her as "right as rain on a thirsty cornfield" and "right on the money 'bout the way that I feel." She is a comforting presence in his life, offering "a cool breath of fresh air when life tries to burn me down" and standing beside him to offer support when he doubts himself. The second verse reinforces her strong personality and independent nature, noting that she is "the first to speak her mind" and "never been the quittin' kind." She may have typical hobbies like talking on the phone and shopping, but she is also deeply loyal and devoted to her partner.

Your songs are a reflection of simple beautiful life.
Sceneries,
Wind in hair,
Smell of flowers,
Two hands in one grip,
A love under that panorama.
Life involved but far less important than love itself is,
That's wonderful as you are.
What a reflection of Love at the mirror of Life β€.
