Jinks is a native of Haltom City in Fort Worth, Texas, and attended Haltom High School. He started learning to play a few country music riffs on the guitar from his father when he was 16, but soon formed a heavy metal band.

She's All Mine
Cody Jinks Lyrics

She moves mountains with her might
She's all mine
She's all mine
She's that Fort Worth Texas girl
She's every girl in the world
She's all mine
The devil tells me lies
Most every night
I don't wander through the darkness
She's my light
She's an angel with no disguise
Lord knows I've made her cry
But she's still mine
She's all mine
If it can be done son, she can
She makes me a better man
She's all mine
She's all mine
The devil tells me lies
Most every night
I don't wander through the darkness
She's my light
She might tell you it's not that hard
That's her lie
If there's one thing to hold against her
It is I
The devil tells me lies
Most every night
I don't wander through the darkness
She's my light
She might tell you it's not that hard
That's her lie
If there's one thing to hold against her
It is I
Doors open when she smiles
She moves mountains with her might
The song "She's All Mine" by Cody Jinks is a heartfelt tribute to the love of his life. The lyrics describe a woman who possesses an undeniable power that can move mountains and open doors with just a smile. She's the quintessential Texas girl who embodies qualities of every girl in the world, but most importantly, she belongs to the singer.
Throughout the song, the devil is mentioned, telling lies every night. However, the singer does not succumb to the darkness because his love is his light. She's an angel who has seen him at his worst and cried over him, yet remains by his side. He acknowledges that she makes him a better man and that if anything, he's the one who holds something against her, not the other way around.
Overall, the lyrics convey a deep appreciation for the woman who has stood by the singer through thick and thin. She's a source of strength and light in dark times. The song is a reminder of how powerful love can be when shared between two people who truly believe in each other.
