Is the difficulty we face genuine? Is the happiness we experience tainted or unpleasing?

We return to? Just to remind us of what we burn through
We revisit our past experiences to serve as reminders of what we have overcome or lost.

A man's only as big as the experience he turns to to push forward
A person's growth and resilience are determined by the experiences they rely on to propel themselves forward.

Push buttons and navigate. Had a nap of late
We navigate through challenges and obstacles, but sometimes we need a moment to rest and recover.

Seen the excuses we fabricate
We are aware of the excuses we create to justify our actions or lack thereof.

Just to saturate reality, I'm glad we made the gallery
We create illusions or distort reality to escape the harshness of life, and I am grateful we have galleries (art spaces) where we can express ourselves.

Cuz all these low points make the high points a fallacy
The existence of low moments diminishes the significance or authenticity of the high points in our lives.

Carelessly floating away
Drifting aimlessly without concern or attachment.

Disillusion is the move with which I cope for today
I deal with the challenges of today by embracing a sense of disillusionment or detachment.

I aspire to express something meaningful or impactful.

I possess a powerful vision and hope for the future.

Not having favorable chances or probabilities according to a knowledgeable individual.

Not having the guilt of remorse if you wanna die
Not feeling guilty or regretful if you hold thoughts of wanting to die.

A smile is used just to contain how you feel
A smile becomes a facade to hold back or mask your true emotions.

So what is real, the rain or the rainbow
Which is the more genuine or authentic representation of life, the rain (struggles) or the rainbow (positivity)?

Foreign emotions in oceans boasting cuz they came on the same boat
Emotions from different origins are confidently expressing themselves because they arrived together, similar to people who came on the same boat.

That's like trophies boasting that they came with Usain Bolt
It is comparable to trophies proudly bragging that they are associated with Usain Bolt, a legendary athlete.

And though we oppose we stay promoting the angle
Despite our conflicting views or opinions, we continue to advocate for our respective perspectives.

Evolving in our poses as we make for the end goal
Adapting and changing our stances or positions as we strive for our ultimate objective.

Behind us is the hope every time that our mans go
Each time our friends or associates leave our presence, hope remains with us.

It all seems to end there, even when you're a type of wiz
Everything seems to culminate at that point, even if you possess great skills or abilities.

Confusion at that type of fix, we suffer for a life of bliss
We experience uncertainty or bewilderment regarding that particular situation, and we endure hardships in pursuit of a happy existence.

Life is insubstantial or transient like a wish. What kind of existence is this?

Martin Luther King Jr. likely questioned the nature of life and its purpose before he was tragically assassinated.

His future needed salt, fate said 'where the mustard at?'
His destiny required a seasoning of significance or impact, and fate wondered where the necessary ingredient was.

As a teen I mastered that, never looked past the fact
During my teenage years, I acquired that level of understanding or insight and never overlooked its importance.

I could chase my dream but I would be an outcast to rap
I could pursue my dream, but I would be an outsider or misunderstood in the world of rap or music.

But as the sun sets on a son set for King
As the sun descends, symbolizing the end of a day, the destiny of a son destined for greatness unfolds.

I'm ready for the dark, let the sunset begin
I am prepared for the challenges and difficulties that lie ahead, just as the darkness arrives with the setting sun.
