NO MERCY
Corazones Muertos Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Looking for a key
To get out from reality
Can´t stand anymore, greed and politics
Stealing from you and me
Trying to find the door
Stick and stones, break your bones
Living in agony
No more hope in society
No future for you and me
To your enemies
Show no mercy at all
Killing memories
Show no mercy at all
Hands around my neck
Dreams I can´t forget
Up & down, moving around
Nightmares on my bed
Fake friends posing around
Bad situations with everyone
Timeline scum just telling shit
Leave me alone with my chemical therapy!
No more hope in society
No future for you and me
To your enemies
Show no mercy at all
Killing memories
Show no mercy at all
To your enemies
Show no mercy at all
Killing memories
Show no mercy at all
The lyrics of Corazones Muertos's song "No Mercy" convey a deep sense of frustration and disillusionment with the current state of society. The singer expresses a desire to escape from the harsh realities of greed and politics that are plaguing the world, searching for a way out and feeling overwhelmed by the corruption that is stealing from both individuals and the collective populace. This longing for a different reality is palpable in the imagery of searching for a key to unlock a door to another world, a metaphor for seeking refuge from the hardships of the present.
The theme of despair and hopelessness is further emphasized by the mention of living in agony and the absence of hope for a better future in society. The lyrics paint a grim picture of a world beset by cruelty and deceit, where even dreams are tainted by nightmares and fake friends abound, exacerbating feelings of isolation and betrayal. The use of vivid language like "hands around my neck" and "nightmares on my bed" evokes a sense of suffocation and helplessness in the face of adversity.
The recurring refrain to "show no mercy at all" towards enemies and memories suggests a sense of defiance and inner strength amidst the turmoil and challenges faced by the singer. It conveys a refusal to be swayed by betrayals and disappointments, urging a stoic resolve to protect oneself and persevere through difficult circumstances. The call to arms against those who seek to harm or hinder is a declaration of resilience and courage in the face of adversity, showcasing a hardened determination to withstand the trials of life.
Overall, "No Mercy" by Corazones Muertos is a powerful anthem of defiance and resilience in the face of a hostile and unforgiving world. The lyrics speak to the struggles of navigating through a society marred by greed, deceit, and betrayal, while also championing the strength and fortitude needed to endure and overcome such challenges. The song captures the raw emotions of disillusionment, frustration, and defiance, resonating with listeners who may find solace and empowerment in its message of unwavering resilience and steadfast determination.
