@@Raidercast since yesterday I've been playing them religiously, the expansion's I never got to play back in the day as they were only on PC I play on Playstation so it's been great to see these after so many years! Overall very happy with the remasters. 😍

@@jackkiernan5950They were on Playstation back in the day. The Windows version got released after it. Only the Pc version had extra content, but the controld on PC were terrible

I found the tank controls far easier to use, the game is unforgiving and the modern controls are way to ‘fluid’ for such a structured game :/ however doesn’t mean they aren’t salvageable

Yea I don't see how modern controls can work for such a structured grid formula. Tank controls are way more reliable.

@@Clammiestthey actually do once you get used to them. Running and jumping is easier because you can do a small 360 and her steps add up for the next jump.

@@MR.__G That's good then. From the footage I've seen, they look like they are pretty decent to use for the most part. I'll most likely still stick to the tank considering I'm just used to it from playing them as a kid.

@@Clammiest I like that there’s an option for both. I got so used to the modern that I forgot how to play with the tank despite growing up using them 😅… the one thing I wish they did make better is the camera. Times when you’re in tight spaces it goes out of control even when you try and reset.. but as old school gamers were used to janky things.

The first level of TR2 was a tomb with dinosaurs the rest were constant fights with humans and dogs , switches and doors. Completed the maze game at her house saw the gold under the house and realized u can never get into that closet in the bedroom. The attic is empty and the butler still farts

Just finished this level today and also finished part 1. I never played the 1st game as a kid and all I can say is wow !! What a masterpiece that game is. It has aged gracefully and the modern controls (when mastered) make it even better IMO

Fitst time I used the granade launcher was by mistake I had no idea what it did, so when the dude exploded in chunks, 8 year old me couldn't stop laughing for quite some time
