Sometimes in life you feel the fight is over,
Occasionally, during our lifetime, we might feel like we have lost the battle.

And it seems as though the writings on the wall,
Also, at times, there is an overwhelming sense of something terrible about to happen.

Superstar you finally made it,
Despite these issues, sometimes you do make a success of yourself.

But once your picture becomes tainted,
However, when your image is tarnished,

People refer to this as

The increase and decrease of one's popularity or reputation.

I always said that I was gonna make it,
Since the beginning, I was confident that I would achieve great success.

Now it's plain for everyone to see,
It is now evident to everybody that I have accomplished my goals.

But this game I'm in don't take no prisoners,
However, the industry I'm in is fierce, and often requires ruthlessness to survive.

Just casualties,
Many people that attempt to make it in show business do not succeed and are victims of this cutthroat industry.

I know that everything is gonna change,
I am aware that everything will change after becoming famous.

Even the friends I knew before me go,
Even my friends that I knew before my success may leave me.

But this dream is the life I've been searching for,
Despite these challenges, I am living the dream I have always hoped for.

Started believing that I was the greatest,
When I began to experience success, I started to think that I was the best at what I do.

My life was never gonna be the same,
My life was altered considerably by my newfound fame and fortune.

Cause with the money came a different status,
Becoming rich came with a new reputation and perception that were unlike anything I had experienced before.

That's when things change,
At this point, everything changed.

Now I'm too concerned with all the things I own,
As a result, I'm now preoccupied with my possessions.

Blinded by all the pretty girls I see,
I'm distracted by all the attractive women around me.

I'm beginning to lose my integrity
Unfortunately, this means I'm also losing my moral principles.

I never used to be a troublemaker,
In the past, I was never someone who caused difficulties.

Now I don't even wanna please the fans,
However, now I am even uninterested in satisfying my supporters.

No autographs,
I refuse to sign anything for my fans.

No interviews,
I decline any interview requests.

No pictures,
I will not allow anyone to take my photograph.

And less demands,
As a result, there are now fewer and fewer expectations from me.

Given advice that was clearly wrong,
At the same time, I was offered some guidance that I realize now was incorrect.

The type that seems to make me feel so right,
The counsel seemed enticing and left me feeling satisfied, but now it looks like it was incorrect.

But some things you may find can take over your life,
It's possible to get completely consumed by some things in your life, and it can be difficult to recognize when you need to pull back.

Burnt all my bridges now I've run out of places,
I've destroyed my relationships with many people, and now I don't have any advocates left.

And there's nowhere left for me to turn,
As a result, there are no more options left for me to consider.

Been caught in comprimising situations,
In the past, I was in difficult and unfortunate positions.

I should have learnt,
In retrospect, however, I should have taken something from these hard lessons.

From all those times I didn't walk away,
One valuable lesson I failed to learn is that I should have walked away from some incidents when it was clear it was in my best interest.

When I knew that it was best to go,
In those situations, I was aware that it would be preferable for me to leave.

Is it too late to show you the shape of my heart,
Nevertheless, maybe it's still possible to show everyone the sincerity and authenticity of my feelings.

Now I know,
At this point, I finally realize

I made mistakes,
That I've made errors,

Think I don't care,
Although it might seem like I don't care,

But you don't realise what this means to me,
People don't understand how much this all means to me.

So let me have,
So please, give me

Just one more chance,
Just one more opportunity,

I'm not the man I used to be,
I am different than the person I was before.
