Memories broken
The truth goes unspoken
I’ve even forgotten my name
I don’t know the season
Or what is the reason
I’m standing here holding my blade
A desolate place
Without any trace
It’s only the cold wind I feel
It’s me that I spite
As I stand up and fight
The only thing I know for real
There will be blood- -shed
The man in the mirror nods his head
The only one
Left
Will ride upon the dragon’s back
Because the mountains don’t give back what they take
Oh, no, there will be blood- -shed
It’s the only thing I’ve ever known
Losing my identity
Wondering, have I gone insane?
To find the truth in front of me
I must climb this mountain range
Looking downward from this deadly height
And never realizing why I fight

The Hog Rider card is unlocked from the Spell Valley (Arena 5). He is a very fast building-targeting, melee troop with moderately high hitpoints and damage. He appears just like his Clash of Clans counterpart; a man with brown eyebrows, a beard, a mohawk, and a golden body piercing in his left ear who is riding a hog. A Hog Rider card costs 4 Elixir to deploy.
Strategy
His fast move speed can boost forward mini tanks like an Ice Golem in a push. At the same time, he can also function as a tank for lower hitpoint troops such as Goblins as he still has a fair amount of health. Most cheap swarms complement the Hog Rider well, as they are nearly as fast as him and usually force more than one card out of the opponent's hand.
The Hog Rider struggles with swarms, as they can damage him down and defeat him quickly while obstructing his path. Barbarians in particular can fully counter him without very strict timing on the defender's part, though be wary of spells.
A Hunter can kill the Hog Rider in 2 hits if placed right on top of it. However, if you place something in front of the Hog Rider, the Hunter's splash will damage the Hog Rider and hit the card in front of it more.
The Hog Rider in conjunction with the Freeze can surprise the opponent and allow the Hog Rider to deal much more damage than anticipated, especially if the opponent's go-to counter is a swarm, or swarms are their only effective counter to him. Skeletons and Bats will immediately be defeated by the spell, while Spear Goblins, Goblins, and Minions will be at low enough health to be defeated by a follow up Zap or Giant Snowball.
However, this strategy isn't very effective against buildings as the Hog Rider will take a while to destroy the building, giving the opponent ample time to articulate another counter.
Against non-swarm troops, it can deal a lot of damage during the freeze time, but this can allow the opponent to set up a massive counterpush. For this reason, players should either only go for a Hog Rider + Freeze when they have other units backing it up from a counterattack, or if the match is about to end and they need to deal as much damage as possible.
It is not a good idea to send in a Hog Rider simply to destroy a building, especially if it is the only building targeting unit available, as defeating Crown Towers becomes substantially more difficult. Spells or simply waiting out the lifetime of the building are more effective. The exception to this is an Elixir Collector placed in front of the King's Tower. If a Hog Rider placed at the bridge, he can destroy the Collector for a positive Elixir trade, though the damage from both Princess Towers will usually mean he does not survive to deal any damage to them. However, if the opponent sends in defending troops, it can be an opportunity to gain spell damage value.
In a deck with several low-cost cards, it might be worth it to simply send the Hog Rider against one building. These decks shuffle their card rotation quick enough, that they will arrive to their next Hog Rider before the next building arrives in the opponent's card rotation.
Long-ranged troops like Musketeer and Flying Machine can snipe those buildings, preserving some of the Hog Rider's health, possibly allowing it to get some Tower damage.
When there are buildings placed in the middle to counter the Hog Rider, understanding the placement of the Hog Rider and the type of building placed can help the Hog Rider to bypass certain buildings.
Passive buildings such as spawners and Elixir Collector have a larger hitbox than defensive buildings; which means that if a passive building was placed 3 tiles away from the river in the middle of the opponent's side, then it is impossible for the Hog Rider to bypass that placement as the Hog Rider will get pulled to that building.
Defensive buildings have a smaller hitbox than a passive building, which means if that if a defensive building was placed three tiles away from the river in the middle of the opponent's side, a Hog Rider placed at the very left or right side of the Arena may be able to bypass it due to its smaller hitbox.
If the player has a building already placed down in the center of the arena, and the opponent tries to bypass it with a Hog Rider at the edge of the arena, they can use certain air troops to push the Hog Rider towards the building as it jumps over the river, effectively denying the bypass attempt. They must be already hovering over the correct placement, as very quick reflexes are required to correctly perform this technique.
For Bats, Skeleton Dragons, and Minion Horde, they should be placed right in front of the Hog Rider as soon as it is deployed.
For Minions, Skeleton Barrel, Mega Minion, Flying Machine, Electro Dragon, Baby Dragon, Inferno Dragon, Balloon, and Lava Hound, stagger the above placement one tile to the right if the Hog Rider is placed on the left side of the arena, and vice versa.
They can also use ground troops to achieve the same result. Something like an Ice Golem deployed at the Hog Rider’s landing spot will obstruct his path and force him to go around the unit, which causes him to be closer to the building instead of the Crown Tower.
The Hog Rider can kite Very Fast non-building targeting troops due to his own Very Fast speed and building only targeting if he is placed on the fourth tile from the bridge, slightly into the opposite lane. He can also stall grounded units when placed right at the bridge. He will pull them towards him while deploying, and then be untargetable by them when he jumps over the bridge. After landing, he will pull them back. This can be useful when the player needs to deal damage in the same lane they are defending. It will also help separate troops behind a tank in a large push.
A Tornado placed on the second tile front of the player's King's Tower and staggered two tiles towards the Princess Tower will activate it without any damage dealt to the Princess Tower, helping them in defending future pushes. This can also be a method of mitigating all damage dealt to a Princess Tower, but doing this more than three times may result in the King's Tower's health being low enough to be targeted directly, opening up the possible threat of a back door three crown. A better alternative is to pull the Hog away from the Princess Tower into the attacking range of all three Crown Towers, which will negate all damage as long as none of them are already distracted
A very powerful combo is the Hog Rider, the Musketeer, and the Valkyrie, typically referred to as the Trifecta. The Musketeer will defend against most troops, while the Valkyrie can protect her and the Hog Rider from swarms or high damage units. The Hog Rider is used to deal damage to the tower.
This can be effectively countered by Lightning, one-shotting the Musketeer and severely damaging both the Valkyrie and Hog Rider. The Minion Horde is also effective, but the enemy can Zap them and the Musketeer will one-shot them all. Even if the Musketeer is defeated, the Hog Rider and Valkyrie will have enough time to severely damage the Tower.
The Hog Rider should be placed behind the Valkyrie to give it a boost so that it stays in front of the Hog Rider, protecting it.
A Hog Rider combined with a Goblin Barrel can be awkward for the opponent to defend against. Timing it so that the Hog Rider is tanking the tower shots for the Goblins is the most effective way to deal damage. However, a Barbarian Barrel can shut this down with minimal Tower damage for a positive Elixir trade, as long as the Goblin Barrel was placed directly on the Tower.
Pairing the Hog Rider with the Balloon can deal devastating damage. If executed properly, the Hog Rider will act as a tank while the Balloon threatens to deal massive damage. The Hog Rider can also destroy any buildings attempting to slow down the combo. However, this combo is very vulnerable to swarms and anti-air cards as neither of the troops target anything but buildings. Additionally, they are easy to separate, due to the disparity in move speeds. Alternatively, the Hog Rider and the Balloon can be played in different lanes to spread the opponent's defenses thin. However, a building or Tornado can bring them back together for an easier defense.
The Hog Rider can be paired with the Lumberjack as both a swarm bait and damage combo. It is a very fast combo with an extremely high damage output potential, so the enemy will likely try to counter it with a swarm. If this happens, use a spell like Arrows to render the opponent defenseless. If they manage to defeat the Lumberjack, the dropped Rage will make the Hog Rider even more dangerous than it normally is.
A fast and deadly combination is the Hog Rider and Mini P.E.K.K.A. combo. Both units are fast but the Mini P.E.K.K.A. does much more damage and does not attack only buildings so the Mini P.E.K.K.A. can deal with troops like the Executioner and Musketeer. However, this combo can be defeated with swarms like Skeleton Army, which will defeat both of them since neither of them can deal area damage. They are also unable to target air troops, so the Minion Horde can stop this easily.
A risky play is to deploy the Hog Rider at the bridge as soon as the match starts. If the opponent does not react fast enough, the Hog Rider will deal a significant amount of damage to the Princess Tower. This can also allow the player to quickly scout the opponent's deck if they happen to react to him fast enough.

There's a hundred and four days of summer vacation
Then school comes along just to end it
So the annual problem for our generation
Is finding a good way to spend it

Like maybe...
Building a rocket
Or fighting a mummy
Or climbing up the Eiffel Tower

Discovering something that doesn't exist
Phineas: Hey!
Or giving a monkey a shower
Surfing tidal waves
Creating nanobots
Or locating Frankenstein's brain
Phineas: It's over here!

Finding a dodo bird
Painting a continent
Or driving our sister insane
Candace: Phineas!

As you can see
There's a whole lot of stuff to do
Before school starts this fall
Phineas: Come on Perry!
So stick with us
'Cause Phineas and Ferb are gonna do it all!
So stick with us
'Cause Phineas and Ferb are gonna do it all!

Candace: Mom! Phineas and Ferb are making a title sequence!

Wall Breakers destroy walls faster than any other unit and make gaps for other units such as Giants to enter the opponent's base. Wall Breakers will look for the nearest building that is trapped (fully or partially) by Walls and target any Wall that is trapping them. Once Wall Breakers have destroyed a protecting Wall, the remaining Wall Breakers will proceed to destroy the protecting inner walls.
Wall Breakers cost a fairly high amount of Elixir, and due to their low health, they should be uses strategically and in smaller quantities. Protect it with other troops so it can reach its target.
Wall Breakers can be extremely effective if you deploy 2 at a time very quickly. However, doing so can render both easily vulnerable to splash damage which can easily destroy them both. Wall Breakers have small amounts of health so use them wisely. Most defenses will be able to destroy it in one shot. Because of this, Giants and Wall Breakers make an excellent team: The Giants distract and in return the Wall Breakers destroy the Wall. Then the Giants can move in successfully. Mortars can be capable of taking out Wall Breakers in one shot. It is helpful to place the Giants a short distance away from the target Walls so that splash damage from a Mortar or Wizard Tower won't catch the Wall Breakers as well. Often times when breaking a Wall, it can be beneficial to deploy one Wall Breaker first, then follow up shortly afterwards with the remainder required to break the Wall. This prevents losing all the necessary Wall Breakers to traps, or having them break different Walls.
Supporting the Wall Breaker with a Rage Spell is a good idea due to the massive bonus to damage, provided if it is also properly protected and makes it to the target.
The Wall Breakers' death damage is unaffected by the Rage Spell, however, so if they are killed while raged before they can hit the Wall, it will not do any more damage than if they were not raged. Thus, it is only recommended to add Rage Spells to Wall Breakers if the Rage Spell will serve a double purpose (such as enraging other troops or a Queen Walk as well).
Wall Breakers are not fooled by spiked or decoy Walls. Their AI will simply have them bypass these Walls if they are not the only Walls left on the base.
Note that Wall Breakers will not target single Walls. There needs to be at least 3 connected Walls for a Wall Breaker to target it, and it must be protecting a building fully or partially. Wall Breakers do splash damage, so it can also be used to finish off buildings close to the Walls if they have enough hitpoints left for the Wall Breaker to successfully destroy them. Having double layers of Walls is ineffective vs. Wall Breakers for said reasoning, but you can have a space between them.
Wall Breakers are somewhat difficult to use in Clan Castles offensively, since they will run to the nearest Wall in a single file, which is likely contrary to typical deployment methods (usually multiple at once). Additionally, due to their fragility, the Wall Breakers will be vulnerable to defenses without assistance from any ground troop to tank.
Wall Breakers can be useful in the Clan Castle for low level players, though. If the low level player doesn't have Wall Breakers unlocked or the Wall Breakers are low level, a high level Wall Breaker or two in the Clan Castle can really help them. Compared to other options, however, Wall Breakers are poor reinforcements.
At higher levels where Wizard Towers (and possibly Bomb Towers) can one-shot Wall Breakers, it is beneficial to place your Wall Breakers at a slight offset from your meat-shields. Doing otherwise will most likely result in your Wall Breakers being destroyed by the splash tower while it attacks the tank.
Be careful of the multi-targeting Inferno Tower if it is close enough to the Wall you're attempting to break. A Wall Breaker that is offset from a meat-shield can still be killed by the Inferno Tower if the latter does enough damage.
As Wall Breakers do a small amount of death damage if destroyed in the vicinity of a Wall, using them in large enough numbers will be able to break a wall: six all Breakers will be able to destroy a relative-level Wall even if they are all killed near the Wall.
As of the October 2020 update, the Wall Breaker is now subject to the Jump Spell. It will ignore walls that were rendered accessible by it and destroy other walls instead.
Wall Breakers can be quite effective at luring opposing Clan Castle troops.

Grass is a type of plant with narrow leaves growing from the base. Their appearance as a common plant was in the mid-Cretaceous period. There are 12,000 species now. [1]

A common kind of grass is used to cover the ground in places such as lawns and parks. Grass is usually the color green. That is because they are wind-pollinated rather than insect-pollinated, so they do not have to attract insects. Green is the best colour for photosynthesis.

Grasslands such as savannah and prairie where grasses are dominant cover 40.5% of the land area of the Earth, except Greenland and Antarctica.[2]

Grasses are monocotyledon herbaceous plants. They include the "grass" of the family Poaceae, which are called grass by ordinary people. This family is also called the Gramineae, and includes some of the sedges (Cyperaceae) and the rushes (Juncaceae).[3] These three families are not very closely related, though all of them belong to clades in the order Poales. They are similar adaptations to a similar life-style.

With around 780 genera and around 12,000 species,[1] the Poaceae is the fifth-largest plant family, after the Asteraceae, Orchidaceae, Fabaceae and Rubiaceae.[4]

The true grasses include cereals, bamboo and the grasses of lawns (turf) and grassland. Uses for graminoids include food (as grain, sprouted grain, shoots or rhizomes), drink (beer, whisky), pasture for livestock, thatching thatch, paper, fuel, clothing, insulation, construction, sports turf, basket weaving and many others.

Many grasses are short, but some grasses can grow tall, such as bamboo. Plants from the grass family can grow in many places and make grasslands, including areas which are very arid or cold. There are several other plants that look similar to grass and are referred to as such, but are not members of the grass family. These plants include rushes, reeds, papyrus and water chestnut. Seagrass is a monocot in the order Alismatales.

Grasses are an important food for many animals, such as deer, buffalo, cattle, mice, grasshoppers, caterpillars and many other grazers. Unlike other plants, grasses grow from the bottom, so when animals eat grass they usually do not destroy the part that grows.[5] This is a part of why the plants are successful. Without grass, soil may wash away into rivers (erosion).

We are the Imperial Army1
And our enemies are enemies of the Emperor
The enemy general is a
Hero equal to none in glory and victory

And the men who follow are also stalwart
And warriors who do not fear death
Even though they are brave enough to frighten the devil,
Heaven will not pardon their rebellion

Those who have crossed the Emperor
Have never prospered
Until our enemy is destroyed,
Forwards, forwards, one and all

Unsheathing the sword like a shattered gem,
We must go forwards, prepared for death

As it has been custom in this Imperial Land,
Samurai have protected like their very souls
The sword which has been made
Obsolete in the Restoration,

Now it has been brought back,
So let friend and foe
Die under the blade, and
For those with Yamato Spirit

Now is the time to die,
Do not bring shame through delay
Until our enemy is destroyed,
Forwards, forwards, one and all

Unsheathing the sword like a shattered gem,
We must go forwards, prepared for death

Even before Japan refused to recognize the Washington Treaty on 19 Dec 1934, the Japanese Navy had been planning for a super-battleship that would serve to intimidate any potential naval rivals. Preliminary plans called for a ship large enough to carry at least eight 46-centimeter (18.1-inch) guns as primary weapons and armor capable of withstanding a hit from her own primary weapons from a range of 20,000 to 35,000 meters. Through Mar 1937, 24 different designs were submitted; the final one, Plan No. A-140F6 by Captain Kikuo Fujimoto, was accepted to be the design for the Yamato-class battleships. The final plan called for turrets that weighed as much as a typical American destroyer, and beam so wide that the Yamato-class ships would be too wide to pass through the Panama Canal, which was a restriction for American naval vessels. The armoring plan for the Yamato-class ships was to place as much armor in the center of the ships as possible (thus making the beam even wider), and place as much vital machinery and spaces in this well protected region as possible, thus saving the need to grow longer in length. The resulting ships were floating fortresses with a relatively shallow draft for the size, stable enough even at high rudder angle to be effective gun platforms.

The armoring scheme, however, also had faults. Although the center portions of the ship were very well-protected, the entire bow and stern sections were completely unarmored. It was thought that even if the bow or stern were punctures, flood control compartments would prevent more serious damage. This theory would later prove to be flawed, as the compartments were too large to be effective.

Around the same time as the plan's acceptance, the drydock at Kure Naval Dockyards in Kure, Japan was expanded so that it would be large and deep enough to house the first of the new battleship design. The drydock was also partly covered so that the construction would remain in secret. Work on battleship Yamato began on 4 Nov 1937, and she was launched 8 Aug 1940. The second ship, Musashi, was built by Mitsubishi at the Nagasaki Shipyard, Nagasaki, Japan between 29 Mar 1938 and 1 Nov 1940. The planned third Yamato-class battleship was laid down on 4 May 1940, but was converted mid-way during the construction to become an aircraft carrier; Shinano was launched on 8 Oct 1944. The planned fourth ship was scrapped in 1943 when only 30% complete.

When Naoyoshi Ishida, an officer who served aboard the battleship Yamato, first saw her, he thought "How huge it is!" He recalled:

When you walk inside, there are arrows telling you which direction is the front and which is the back—otherwise you can't tell. For a couple of days I didn't even know how to get back to my own quarters. Everyone was like that.... I knew it was a very capable battleship. The guns were enormous. Back then I really wanted to engage in battle with an American battleship in the Pacific.
Because of the Yamato-class battleships' enormous size, men who served aboard them reported that there was no pitch or roll when sailing, even when standing at the top of the command tower. It was almost as if they were standing on firm ground, recalled Ensign Mitsuru Yoshida who served aboard Yamato as a radar officer.

As big naval guns are concerned, none were as fearsome as the Type 94 naval guns, built 46 centimeters in caliber just as originally planned. To hide their true size, they were designated "Special Type 40 cm" guns; this attempt was successful in fooling American intelligence. These guns were mounted on the battleships Yamato and Musashi in 3-gun turrets. Each one of the turrets weighed 2,774 tons, which was actually heavier than many destroyers in the WW2 time period. The range of these guns were stunning, being able to reach a target as far as 40 kilometers (25 miles) away. When they roared, a 15-meter semi-circle perimeter were considered dangerous for crew members, as the muzzle blasts generated intense heat. These Yamato-class battleships were typically stocked with:

Explosive shells
Armor piercing shells (Type 94)
Sanshiki anti-aircraft shells (Type 3)
The explosive and armor piercing shells were heavier than their contemporaries, weighing in at 1,460 kilograms (3,218 pounds) each. The armor-penetration capabilities of the armor piercing shells were so great that when they were mis-used, as seen with Yamato during the Battle off Samar, they went right through target ships without exploding. With a capable crew, they could fire at the rate of once about every 40 seconds, which translated to about 1.5 rounds per minute.

While explosive and armor piercing shells were common among battleship ammunitions, the sanshiki shells were unique. They were 1360-kilogram (2,998-pound) shells filled with 900 incendiary tubes. They were fired toward toward the general direction of incoming hostile aircraft, and timed fuses triggered them to explode. After the fuses triggered, the cone-shaped space before each exploded shell were filled with steel splinters from the destroyed shell, shrapnel, and 0.5 second later fireballs from the incendiary tubes; the fireballs lasted for 5 seconds and burned at 3,000 degrees Celsius. Sanshiki shells were used by the battleship Yamato during her run at Okinawa, when she was overwhelmed by American carrier aircraft.

Battleship Musashi used her explosive shells in an interesting manner when she was attacked by American aircraft during the Battle of Sibuyan Sea. She fired explosive shells from her 46-centimeter primary guns into the water, making huge geysers aimed at knocking down torpedo bombers attacking her. "Running into one of these geysers would be like running into a mountain", recalled TBF Avenger pilot Jack Lawton, "I felt the muzzle blast each time they fired. I could swear the wings were ready to fold every tie these huge shockwaves hit us."

The Yamato-class battleships' secondary armaments consisted of four triple 6.1-inch guns, placed fore, aft, and one at each beam. As designed, they also carried 250mm guns and triple mounts and 13-mm machine guns.

In the stern, large hangar bays were found that were large enough to handle up to seven aircraft, though the battleships usually carried no more than three or four aircraft for spotting and reconnaissance purposes. Two 59-ft catapults were fitted on the quarterdeck of each battleship. During the war, Yamato and Musashi were fitted with various types of radar.

Although Yamato and Musashi, with their thick armor and huge guns, were the most powerful battleships of the Japanese Navy, they were never fully utilized to their full potential. They remained in port for the most part of the war, not engaging in combat until nearly the very end of the Pacific War. Both were sunk by overwhelming air power. Many historians had since argued that the Yamato-class battleships were a waste of resources, and they were obsolete even before construction began. Looking at the evolution of Japanese naval development in the 1930s, however, mirrored most major navies in the world, as naval aviation was still something that not too many had grasped well, and the building of the Yamato-class ships were almost rational. Once naval aviation established its place, however, unlike the American contemporary battleships which developed into anti-aircraft platforms, the Yamato-class ships never made a similar transformation, thus truly sealing its own fate as obsolete warships.

The Yamato-class battleships carries the legacy of being the largest and heaviest battleships to this day.
