@headbangaboogie1 that has been my understanding as well, that all religions stem from the same basic spiritual philosophy. essentially we are all created from the same energy, we inhabit the same universe, everything truly points to unity, but, again, people have tried to turn the arrow towards separation, only for the limited time it can be so. i think your religion is the last major one ive to delve into, but i suspect its true message can only reinforce unity, like the others.

@misguidedmisanthrope that choice is hard to make because of many factors the biggest of those factors is the lack of education (including knowledge of the world/ppl around us and of our own existence in this world) i think if a thing is to be good there is always a conflict of it being bad and religion works that way. many children are not given the chance to think for themselves but you have and i have. lets have hope and reduce the number of those children (in many countries)

@misguidedmisanthrope when you look at history there is a lot to talk about, all religions start in one direction (because i believe they are from one God) and then they are split into many directions over a long period of time but that cant be helped, that is why i believe the very original teachings of my religion (thankfully the Quran has not been tampered with at all since it was revealed 1400 years ago)

@headbangaboogie1 im not saying we dont have a choice, im just saying that choice is real damn hard to make, and religion has not helped. in fact, it has just made the problem worse by deliberately working on those precise insecurities which lead man to revert to being animalistic. not having hope in humanity is a direct effect of this. i understand evil is needed to realize good, but there is already enough hardship to acheive this. we dont also need wars over god, or a one world govt.

@misguidedmisanthrope you're saying we are animals as if we don't have any cognition, any choice in our actions... i was referring to violence as animalistic, but the real problem is not having any hope for humanity. im gonna say we all take different paths in our lives but those paths are intertwined and without one the other cant exist for example peace cannot exit with out suffering (i believe hardships bring ppl together), love without hate, and light without darkness
