To me, having a woman sing the song makes it feel like it's from Priscilla's point of view, which is what makes this version so beautiful yet incredibly sad. It fits so well with a voice as soft and tender as Kacey's. Stunning cover of one of the most beautiful songs ever written. Breathtaking movie with outstanding performances by everyone but especially Austin (who deserves an Oscar), Olivia and Tom.

I saw the movie yesterday and I was so impressed. So well made with great actors. It was all very touching and you really feel Elvis’ happiness, struggles and pain throughout the movie. He rose so high but crashed so deep. I have a deep respect for the King and his determination to keep on singing ‘til his last breath. I’m from a younger generation but I’ve always loved Elvis, thanks to my dad who was a big Elvis admirer himself.

Austin and Olivia both gave home runs with their performances as Elvis and Priscilla. The movie did a beautiful job of portraying their relationship in a natural way, and the way it happened since it felt like two people dealing with problems faced by any relationship and all couples like long distance and infidelity, it also felt like the first marriage that was a casualty of fame and celebrity like how he's constantly working and the two are always surrounded by his team which would easily end any marriage but then there's the added element of she wasn't married to a famous person, she was married to ELVIS except you can't be married to Elvis. All of the heartwarming and heartbreaking aspects of his life were represented in their performances. Go see Elvis. It's like the real Elvis... don't ask somebody else to describe Elvis go see for yourself.

When I tell you a song makes me WANT to see an entire film, this is it. It pulls you in from the first stroke of the piano keys till she leaves the car. You feel the pain, the emotions and the monumental loss of love slip away. Just powerful. Updated to add. Finally saw the movie. I learned SOOOOOO much I didn't realize about Elvis. What gentle giant who was so taken advantage of. The fact that 40 years after his death he still holds so many records, is an indication that his impact is far greater than he ever dreamed.

What an amazing choice to sing such an iconic song. It's been sung countless times, but this version from Kacey was the one that really touched me. This movie is a masterpiece and finally humanizes Elvis, not a king, but a flawed human being like all of us. It also shows how comprehensive his career was, covering so much more than the stereotypes we see so much every time. Austin really deserves, at minimum, an Oscar nomination for such a passionate delivery.

This was my sisters wedding song as she walked down the aisle. The guy turned out to be a sociopath who, a year later kicked her out to the streets. She was pregnant and had a 1 year old daughter with him. Whenever I hear this song I can’t help but cry for my sister. Thank goodness she was able to stay with me til she found a place. Now the husband is wanting half custody over both of them after not speaking to them for months. I cry and beg God to give the pain she feels to me so that my sister can be happy. Because she doesn’t deserve this. She has had such a hard life already. I love her so much.

I saw this movie tonight and after not being an Elvis fan, I can honestly see what I've been missing out on. Austin deserves every award GIVE HIM ALL THE AWARDS FOR THIS. He portrayed a man who was larger than life but at his core just wanted to be loved by his wife and wanted to be with his daughter.

I'm such a sucker for tear jerkers, I was in tears at the end, it's so heartbreaking seeing how much pain Elvis was in and how he struggled. He lives forever in all out hearts

I'm getting married on the 24th July and I'm a huge Elvis and Kacey fan - I always knew I wanted to walk down the aisle to 'Can't help falling in love with you' but when Kacey's version was announced it felt like serendipity - will definitely be walking down to this devastatingly beautiful version to incorporate both of my musical loves.

All across the movie there were incredible, Oscar worthy performances and contributions. Austin Butler was perfect. He transformed into Elvis. Tom Hanks was fantastic as Col. Parker. Catherine Martin Costume design was spot on and beautiful. Baz Luhrmann’s direction was inspired. Set design was perfect. The supporting cast really pulled it all together and helped make it possible to forget for a couple of hours that Elvis has been gone for 45 years.

this cover is so painful but also so beautiful. it’s just like elvis’s life, so beautiful because he followed his heart and changed music, even fell in love. but also painful because he follower his heart but landed in the wrong spot with the wrong people and fell out of love in the process. kacey nailed this <3

Since watching Elvis movie and hearing Kacey Musgraves cover 'Can't help falling in love' I haven't been able to stop listening to it obsessed 😍❤️! Can't get the film out of my head either. Listened to a few other songs by Kacey too, love her voice there's something special about this girl, found a new singer I like 🥰

Hauntingly beautiful cover of Elvis. Just saw this movie. What an amazing yet tragic movie. Really showed how alone and depressed Elvis really was. Everything about this movie was good, the story, the music, the acting and the direction. What’s amazing about Elvis is that to this day he will and continue to live on through many generations.

I cried at the end. The theater I was in was sold out and no one wanted to leave at the end of the movie. We all sat through the credits. And I mean the whole theater. It felt amazing. So happy a new generation is introduced if they haven’t been already!

The acting and cinematography looks exceptional in this film and so much care has been taken on the camera angles and detail to match to the original footage of Elvis and Priscilla. I think the film will be phenomenal!

It really does look like Austin absolutely nailed his performance of Elvis. Only shame is not to get Elvis fully singing every song as no one can ever match his singing or talent.

A nice cover by Kacey though of this Elvis classic.

@M S Sure it wasn’t 100% accurate but that’s alright because it does share a good story and explores Elvis’ life. Yes there were a few things that were changed in this biopic for creative reasons but all in all it was a good film.

I have seen this film four times. I am truly and utterly obsessed. My favourite film of all time. My heart is so sore and I just wish I could have been alive when he was. This film teachers so much. This song is in the beginning of my wedding video from 34 years ago. It is a haunting rendition tastefully done. I am a huge Elvis fan. I was blessed to see him in concert. I cannot bring myself to see this movie. To heartbreaking. Just hearing that song and watching that clip brought me to tears 😢
