Well DLSR is upscale for running games at a lower resolution

DLDSR renders at a higher resolution and downscales them which can be used for everything else

Only a fullscreen peasant will not understand that

For example you want to watch 4k netflix on a 1440p monitor, but you also want to play a game that is to demanding so have to play it at 720p it is then upscaled to 4k then down to the screen resolution as opposed to 720p to 1440p directly

Its a best of both worlds combination

Boarderless has long since given better performance than fullscreen on non potato PC’s along with instant alt + tabbing

Its why Avorion pisses me off by saying Boarderless but then plays in fullscreen anyway

@Mr.CoolHats That depends on what you are playing. FPS games like CS:GO or Battlefield or racing games benefit much from higher frame counts. Games like Simcity or Tropico or whatever benefit much more from cranked up graphics settings at 60fps or so. I like to vary between 75hz and 144hz on my GSync monitor, depending what games I play. I don't want my GPU to turn into a space heater all the time for nothing.

Damn, I’m really starting to kick myself for not getting an RTX card when I had the chance at a reasonable price point. Bought a 1660 super around time the 2060 dropped and the decision making was pretty much down to whether or not I was going to use ray tracing that much. Had I had more knowledge on what DLSS and now this was going to be able to do, I would have probably gone the other way.

Yep. I didn't see a reason to update from my GTX 1070 when the 20 series launched because it wasn't enough of an improvement. Now a few years later I could really use features like DLSS to run newer games at higher framerates on my 165Hz monitor. Oh well. Prices have to come down at some point. I'm not buying a card for nearly double MSRP.

I mean theres been a campaign from a few AMD-oriented tech channel (like one who doesn't fit in a box...) to say DLSS is marginal and "looks bad" cause it just started at that time (1.0 phase), and Ray Tracing was a fad to bump up prices.
Now DLSS is in half the triple A games comin out, and Ray Tracing is becomin more and more common, even if its often limited to shadows (because thats all next-gen consoles/RDNA 2 can support at 60fps). Blame the Nvidia haters, Nvidia does some shady stuff with their pricings but tech wise, they deliver.

Funny enough, that channel I alluded to now says "Oh you cant deny Nvidia's cards features". Shame its too late to say that, everyone knows.

@sscillitani I have both a 2060 mobile and a 1070 and tbh you're not missing a ton. DLDSR is "free" performance only if you already use super sampling, which most people probably don't. And DLSS only works in a few games. When it works it's great, but lots of the games I play don't support it. A lot of it is just hype.

It is a mathematical object, just like matrices, which is used as a foundation in AI computing

DLDSR solved one of the biggest issues I have with Escape from Tarkov. Before DLDSR you had two options: Blurry Tarkov or jagged as hell Tarkov. Now DLDSR solves both of those issues and makes the game look cleaner than ever before. Nvidia has really outdone themselves this time, IMO even more than when they implemented DLSS, and I can't wait to test out all of my games with this new tech.

The Deep Learning component is improving upon the gaussian 13 tap filter to a fantastic effect in DLDSR. BTW a tip if you find inner surface texture detail is too soft compared to native resolution rendering you can fine tune it using the DSR - Smoothing setting in the 3D settings of the Nvidia control panel. The default is 33% and you can go down to around 20% to give an extra sharp image with a very small increase of edge aliasing due to less smoothing. Higher values than 33% will improve smooth edge anti aliasing smoothing but give a softer image. It really is s tweakable to your preference.

I did some thorough testing and DLDSR is indirectly killing 4k monitors. I have 2 LG ultra gear monitors both at 32", one at 1440p and one 4k. The DLDSR on 1440p on 1.78x (3413x1920) settings has no visual difference I can tell from the other native 4k monitor with, but has significant fps gain. This was tested on all other graphics setting the same.

It's actually much better than regular DSR. I've been using this feature since it dropped in 511.23 more than two weeks ago. BTW nvidia's example in Prey is extremely misleading: either the FPS are locked at 145 or there is a CPU bottleneck. There's no way a game loses only 37 FPS when jumping from 1080p to 4k unless one of those conditions is met. Other than that, the feature is great. Does miracles with the aliased vegetation in Hunt Showdown. I can now stare at the older maps in PUBG for longer periods of time without vomiting.

It's an example that isn't representative of how much performance you'll lose in most games, but it's still a good example of how DLDSR (or normal DSR) can be used. There are a lot of single-threaded, CPU bottlenecked games out there like Prey that under-utilize the GPU. DSR allows you to make full use of your GPU in those games to get a better image.

@Ian Williamson nvidia also released AI powered background noise called RTX Voice. RTX Voice was hacked and it was shown that it works on GTX cards. Nvidia then releases a silent update which supports GTX cards. They could apply this technology to GTX cards, but they won't. Stop shilling for the greedy corporation.

DLDSR is my favorite feature. It really makes old games look super nice. It's a free visual upgrade. And for newer games with DLSS.. it's great combining DLSS + DLDSR to get a nice clean image.

DLDSR works so much better than standard DSR and it's less expensive when it comes to performance. Also the "smoothness" option in NVCP allows you to scale sharpness to your liking. I went around 55-60% and only use 1.78x DL and the quality is so much better than native.

I've been playing around with DLDSR in RDR2 and Far Cry 6, and combined with DLSS, it improves things very noticeably. In both games, it allows me to dramatically improve the mushy textures I get at native 1440p. I also tried it in Horizon Zero Dawn briefly, with it giving a slight improvement over DSR (without a change in FPS), which I was using before. I love DLDSR so far.

And as a quick and easy summary of what it does (it took me a while to figure this out), one way to look at it is the following: With a 1440p monitor, for example, it basically allows you to downscale from 5k at the same FPS cost as downscaling from 4k. And this difference from 4k to 5k does make a noticeable difference in sharpness and detail on a 1440p monitor... without any further FPS cost.

DLDSR is the kind of technology I have expected to get out, just upscaling for getting rid of the jaggy pixels and mantain the performance. One other benefit is including in top of that DLSS (as one guy said in this comment section) and FSR for improoving performance, but I expect to do somewhat of a mess as the tensor cores will have to work double the work in order to improove performance-wise combining these techniques.

@mini tomate - I've tested this a quite lot across many resolutions by using different monitors (1440P and 2160P) on a RTX 3090 there is no issue with combining DLSDR and DLSS, it works great! Yes tensor cores have extra work by being used twice but the frame times do not suffer.

that would be too low level and i don't think they can do it, since they are actually the same..
TLDR;
a small diff. is tensor core don't need huge amounts of cache or bandwitdh to do the same thing but with good enough implementaion normal SIMD can be as efficient as a tensor core for e.g 6800xt RDNA2 int4/int8 is actually faster than even mid-tier turing, so RDNA 2 can run DLSS 2.0+ level algos without a sweat, its all upto the devs...

This setting is honestly incredible for games that are cpu bottlenecked. I've been running it since it dropped with Escape From Tarkov. I've been using DLDSR on my 1440p monitor and running the game at 4K. The visual difference is staggering. The game honestly doesn't usually look very good on 1440p unless you run TAA which murders your latency. With DLDSR the image is so crisp you basically don't even need AA on at all. The only issue I'm having is where Reserve and Lighthouse exceed my 3080's 10GB of VRAM and it becomes a mess. On those two maps specifically I have to drop back to 1440p.

To compesenate the issue just drop your texture Quality from high to medium, ir even lower
That did it for me and its now playable only with a small decrease of detail

Dldsr applies to literally everything. It seems to apply just before the image is sent to your monitor so unless your using geforce experience if you take a screenshot it won't even show up because the screenshot is taken before the effect is applied

SuperSampling 4k onto my 1440p monitor with DLDSR has been pretty amazing.

An Ansel sharpness filter helps deal with any blurryness, and I cannot get over all the clean lines.. The jaggies are 98% gone.

Or rather than adding sharpening which can remove performance depending on the title (some more than others) try reduce the DSR - Smoothing value from 33% to 20% try it! For a tiny increase in edge aliasing you get a less blurry image. You can experiment with the value.

This works exceptionally well when you combine it with DLSS. In Dying Light 2 the default antialiasing is very blurry and makes it hard to see things in the distance at 1080p. What I did what DLDSR it up to 1440p then DLSS it back down to 1080p. The result looks like essentially native 1440p which is really impressive, and it a pretty small impact on performance when you compare it to just regular 1080p. I’m super excited to test this on more games

ive never understood DSR. Can someone explain to me the difference between DSR and just changing the Resolution in the NV Control Panel to like 4K? Because in the end my screen just runs at that resolution or am i missing something? My 2ndary monitor gets thrown off because of its different resolution (main 1440, 2nd 1080) and i just dont see the point in it. Thats why i think SSAA is superior until i can understand it better. Hate to tell you I have an RTX card and the marketing, imcluding this video, is intentionally misleading.

They used prey as an example because at 1080p it was CPU locked. So it makes it appear like DLDSR was running practically for free.

No, it still costs the same as rendering at a higher resolution, their proposition is that they can make rendering at 1620p look almost as good as rendering at 2160p for a significantly lower cost. However it will still cost drastically more than 1080p.

These things vary wildly from machine to machine and game to game. The closest thing to a widely applicable solution is lowering effects/post-processing and keeping textures high for best visuals to fps ratios.

using both DLDSR and DLSS at the same time seems like a stupid idea at first, but I found it really helped get a much better picture in Red Dead Redemption 2. That game is always kinda fuzzy looking when playing at anything under 4k... the edges sometimes look exagerrated and sometimes too soft, it just feels... off... like any moving objects are paper cutouts or something... and specially because the graphics are gorgeous overall in that game it really makes you notice it even more, it's like the developers assumed that everyone was going to be using 4k very soon when they developed it... i use a 1440p monitor as i don't think gaming at 4k is really a realistic option unless maybe if you have a 3080 Ti or 3090.
Using DLDSR 2.25x (which is 4k for if you use 1440p), really sharpens up the image significantly, edges look much more reasonable, and even though it does of course take a significant performance hit, i think it was worth it to make it look that much better... if you tune in the graphics options to reasonable levels... and then on top of that using DLSS to get the fake up the 4k rendering to begin with it saves even a few more FPS, in total it's a pretty massive difference in performance from what you could get from just DSRing from 4k and running without DLSS to begin with.. Alternatively use the built in option for multi-sample AA but it's extremely costly in performance and you really shouldn't turn it on.

The games that Nvidia used in their promotion of this like Prey, I don't see as much of a difference though, Prey has notoriously bad aliasing, as do Dishonored 2 and Dishonored: Death of the Outsider which use the same engine as Prey with minor differences... even when downscaling from very high (over 4k!) resolution you still get jagged edges as if it somehow is aware that it's rendering it for your screen resolution, not sure how it's even possible.

DLDSR works wonders especially for games with terrible anti-aliasing (assuming you have sufficient headroom). For example, in Euro Truck Simulator 2 I was using 300% scaling and it still looks bad. Now with DLDSR 225%, the game not only looks better but performs better as well.

@InFlamesor12 Turn the two highlighted options on shown in 4:07. In the game set the resolution to any of the two resolutions shown there (it's different depending on your display). Make sure to set the smoothness to 50% or higher to smooth out the image.

FINALLY, I have been asking for this since DLSS first came out. In fact, I have been using DSR in combination with DLSS for similar results from day one. lt's good to hear that it's finally becoming an official feature. It really shouldn't have taken Nvidia this long to realise that AI upscaling can be used to make games look better instead of just creating a blurry mess

pretty sure it is due to over provisioning. filling an SSD to full capacity is bad for its health long term, so often times there will be 5 - 10% of the space on it reserved

If you want free performance at 1440p or 4k on a native monitor at these respective resolutions, you can use CRU to delete the 1440p or 4k outputs, force your PC and monitor to output at 1080p, then use DLDSR to output using super sampling at 1440p or 4k, without it "costing" as much GPU resources as the same respective native resolution. The result - higher frames per second on a 1440p or 4k in-game with no loss in image quality and the performance of a 1080p game. This is like getting DLSS in EVERY game.

what i dont like about the feature is one thing i got a 32:9 so it scales to 7680x2160 thats not really usable but if i want it usable i need to use pbp to get 2560x1440 as native resolution and then dldsr is kinda usefull but alas alot of features turn off if i go pbp leaving me with the meh its enabled but i think i wont use it at all

Man. As much as my 1080Ti still keeps up with most games pretty well, it REALLY sucks to be just one generation short of being able to take advantage of stuff like this and DLSS.

It's fascinating tech.. I did an experiment with Metro Exodus that looked a bit blurry on my 1080p 144hz monitor. I put the resolution on 1620p DLDSR which looks the same as old 4k dsr, than use DLSS to run it at lower resolution as low as 720p upscaled to 1620p and it looks much better than native 1080p with same or better performance. I don't go lower than 720p DLSS, but even 540p looks decent and is playable, which is insane.

I know its not the same but i already use VSR (Virtual Super Resolution on AMD) and honestly in some games it helps alot. For exemple i play on a 1080p monitor but Warzone just looks horrible (especially on distance objects) at 1080p, so i set VSR on and render the game at 1440p and it really makes a difference.

VSR is AMD's equivalent to DSR, it's just a form of SSAA for games that don't have it. The problem with SSAA is that it absolutely kills framerate and requires a lot more VRAM

DLDSR uses AI to do the upscaling without tanking FPS as much

It's basically an efficient AI antialiasing, I have no idea why it took them years to realise there is a huge demand for this

@Kekus Magnus well dlss was initially marketed as antialiasing, and that's what I've been using it for. dlssing above my resolution and have it downscale. looks really good but this could be even better now

@Kekus Magnus It seems that Nvidia using Prey as an example was a bit deceiving. The performance hit is only this small because of a significant CPU bottleneck, obfuscating how costly DLDSR actually is. It's less than regular DSR but it's still a big hit to consider on a game-per-game basis. For CPU bottlenecked scenarios it's an outstanding solution, but in GPU limited scenarios or extremely VRAM hungry games performance can be catastrophically impacted.

This really brings back to the forefront a curious argument I've had for a while concerning nVidia's advantage in performance. It always seems like it comes at the cost of quality. AMD has been able to high quality AA with relatively low performance impact for many years now.

Kinda curious if AMD or a third party app has an audio noise filtering solution equivalent to Nvidia, and also what Apple’s Metal does relative to the other graphics technologies.

After weeks and weeks of trying I happened to snag a GDDR6 1650 (Gigabyte) card today for £170 off Amazon (UK) — from Amazon themselves. Can’t believe my luck. 🤯🤯🤯 It’s going to be my hardware encoder/decoder for Plex and TDARR script. I really wanted a 3050 but they’re now going for £450+ 🤬🤬after the very few launch day cards sold out in seconds at RRP pricing.

To combat scalpers they could just sell direct to the customers like PlayStation did with the PS5. Just need either a history of ownership of a GPU or Steam account with x amount of gaming hours or whatever account you use. One GPU per account or two per household.

@Tim obviously they’re sold out. Im saying when they were first sold everyone who had a PlayStation subscription we’re able to preorder it from PlayStation directly. Why can’t NVIDIA sell the new 3090ti and 3050 direct to customers instead of us having to try and fight with the scalper bots

Lots of people are complaining that this is only for RTX cards. But at this point, you should have understood that new technology features are going to be for, you guessed it, the new technology. You have no right to complain that your 10 year old GPU isn't cutting it anymore.

Dldsr is amazing for games like halo infinite or anything with bad taa. Render at native, have the game upscale it to the dldsr resolution just for dldsr to downsample it back to native.

Its a weird way to do it, but the end result is really clean

I use DSR to upscale Rust to 1440p for better fps as my monitor is a Zowie 1080p 240hz and 1080p doesn’t even wake up the 3090. It’s easily a 60-80fps difference with DSR enabled.

I dont understand why they dont use this more like DLSS, but instead of rendering at below native resolution and then using the AI scaling up to above native, then back to native, they should render the game at native res, then upscale to 8k, and back down to native as a form of image enhancement / AA. It would be more like DLSSAA or something.

Seems kinda pointless to me other than for benchmarks. Most people seem to not want higher resolution at lower resolution compared to dlss doing lower resolution to a higher one. Dlss at a driver level would be amazing since so few games actually have dlss incorperated.

And? Having features that don't work on 2+ year old hardware is nothing new. Even if you can still buy GTX cards new they have been pretty clear that for full feature sets you will need RTX. The only "complaint" to be had here is that up until recently there was no real world use for NEEDING RTX and that is starting to change. I would argue that they could do all the same stuff without the tensor cores when it comes to gaming and they are just trying to unify their enterprise and consumer solutions a bit more, but that is an argument for another day. The point is they have been telling you the difference in RTX and GTX for years, it is a little late to be upset about it, and if you are, AMD cards are doing pretty well. And soon Intel will be a player here with XeSS based solutions that may also fill the gap. Overall it is a pretty exciting time for GPUs, assuming you can get them. (I have purchased 5 different GPUs since the shortages started of various different models, all at MSRP, all for gamers, none scalped. The point in saying this is that you CAN get them, you just can't always get them on the day you wish you could).

@ReivecS because when the rtx cards came to the market, it was only really offering fancier new lighting on a small range of games. nobody really wanted to pay money for that. even now, it's not about raytracing itself, but the new cores they're implementing IN the rtx cards.

I was just curious how this works with two or more monitor set ups. I have a 1440p main and 1080p secondary. I tried turning dldsr on with the 2.25x option in Nvidia control panel. In game suddenly the resolution available was the 2.25x amount. When I selected that my game went crazy and spread across both screens with everything on the second monitor being shoved away. Basically un playable. Am I doing something wrong? should I set my main monitors base resolution to be the new 2.25x so they match?

Amd doesn't have dedicated hardware for this? I'm taking an educated guess that they said they are working on and will come out soon because it will come out with their multichannel design gpu. I'm guessing their multi chip design is mean for one chip to do the game graphics like a normal gpu and the second Chipley will take care of everything else like the tensor cores do

AMD has tensor cores meant for AI (I think), but DLSS and DLDSR are proprietary technology. so AMD is catching up and developing their own version. AMD does currently have FSR which is their version of DLSS, but it is pretty jank compared to DLSS, they still need to refine it to compete with nvidia

No, you make visuals look better at a performance hit Example: from 3840X2160 to 5120X2880 you get the visual quality better than 5k at 5k performance hit. i've tested it

DLDSR doesn't support tiled displays so you can't use it with with any monitor that requires display stream compression.

suggestion: Deciphering weird as hell setting names like SMAA and others. Not everyone happens to know what lots of the game setting sare, especially when it comes to shaders, so having a video running through some of them and de-mystifying those awkward terms would be neat.

I'm honestly still confused as to why rendering at native resolution is so poor. Lately I've become frustrated with the current generation of AA implementations which just make everything soft and blurry. I don't have a GPU with enough spare grunt to SS. But I've seen the results. It just seems very odd that an image rendered at 1080p to view on a 1080p display is ugly. All the clever solutions we have, even Ray Tracing now, and we can't anti-alias edges? I don't get it.

I can see that Nividia still ranks higher just by looking at the market value of there products compared to AMDs.
The software features and the image of Nvidia seem to be more appealing to most consumers.
And as shown here again, Nvidia is often the party thats suprises their customers with free, performance improving updates, or are i'm wrong with that?

its the software side of things that make people want to buy nvidia over AMD. AMD cards are strong and a better cost to performance ratio compared to nvidia, but nvidia is constantly innovating with software/drivers. AMD is way behind in this department

3:33 Those images are a lie. Dldsr is just as taxing on gpu as dsr, it just gives a more sharper image than dsr, which means 2.25 dsr will look sharper than 4x dsr. But you won't be getting the same fps as 1080p with 2.25 dsr as those images show.
Dsr still have an advantage over dldsr when it comes to anti aliasing.

I still kind of think AMD is doing more for gamers in general with fidelity since it works with any card and from the results i've seen its pretty powerful with no noticeable downsides.

Ha no noticeable downsides... you must be kidding.... FSR is just a special upscale with no temporal component (so no accumulation of samples over multiple frames), it helps smooth out edges but you get inner surface blurring and other shiny artefacts in the final image. DLSS has temporal reconstruction and the final output can often reduce artefacts. Until AMD add a temporal component to FSR it is not really a true DLSS competitor.

@Michael Bradshaw like i said fidelity takes no performance hit and it works on the 1650 which is the most common card on steam, the gamer audience overall doesn't care about blurring they just want frames and smooth edges with good colors and fidelity does that for everyone

I've tried FSR and DLSS and both introduce artifacts + blurring that I personally find unacceptable for most games(slow movement or turn-based games can be fine sometimes). I'd rather turn down settings than subject myself to that.
DLDSR however didn't evoke the same disgust, quite the opposite. The games looked way better, but it comes with a performance hit rather than a benefit.

The real game changer this is when you can combine it with a normally unusable low quality DLSS like 2.25x with Performance DLSS in RDR2. Same frame rate for a much cleaner, more detailed image that both eliminates DLSS artifacts and is more pleasing than native TAA at no performance cost. It's like magic, you need to see it to believe it. I hope more games will be adding DLSS since it doesn't offer the same quality benefits with AMD's FSR in my tests.

So, how will Radeon rx cards not take a huge hit when doing ai sampling when they don't have dedicated cores to offload production to? It's the whole reason I keep saying dlss is the future and ray tracing is just a very powerful all-in-one of lighting effects. But, it doesn't do anything graphically. It won't drive the graphics industry forward; it's more of an end-goal. The same could be said for dlss, but the difference is you can push dlss further with each generational step in graphics(8k, more k, unreal engine's new triangle approach, etc.). Dlss will continue to be a focal point, where ray tracing will be a toggle in the settings that you usually leave off... that is, until every game has it and is much more easily implemented, thus taking less resources. Point about my rant is: ray tracing is a thing in this generation, not what is driving the generation and the future. AI is the future and is what is driving this generation in terms of graphics. AMD will never overtake Nvidia until they have extra ai chips on their gpu. It's not a gimmick - it's becoming a necessity. And the thing that utilizes ai more efficiently isn't ray tracing, it's dlss.

Hmm, what if I already have a 4K monitor but would like to have a better frame rate with that technology because even a 5800X with a 3080 isn't enough in all games for 100-120fps+? Would I need to use the "Resolution Scale" inside the game to lower the setting and then add DSLDSLDL blabla so i would be back at 4K but with better frame rate?

Also not sure if I understood correctly but this needs to be implemented PER game and doesn't work on all games automatically right?

DLDSR works on all games. In your case, you can use NIS (Image Scaling) to lower the render resolution to improve your framerate

rather then trying to hide your handheld dohicky that I assume has something to do with camera work, why not use a web browser based approach which then takes advantage of your smartwatches' ability to communicate with the internet? or how about a guitar or drum, pedal? a pedal would make more sense to me then the smartwatch solution. its out of sight and you can just place more than one as necessary.

Well the drop in fps is big when activing it with only a very small gain in image quality. Personally, after testing 10 games and benchmarked each game, i have decided to not use it for the time being… maybe it will improve over time…

Sadly this does nothing on VR games as it only applies on desktop windows and not on what is rendered to the VR headset ( or it actually drops quality heavily because of ghosting and generating artifacts)

this is all fine and dandy, and congrats to the team who actually made it, but lets not kid ourselves think its anything more than a little sprinkle of water while we get pissed on. I would actually like for them to do business in way a where people who actually use graphics cards for more than wasting energy and collecting dust don't have to pay a kindeys worth of money for a new GPU.
Until we stop getting 5 year old GPUs at inflated prices there should be no mercy in the media for these companies.
What good does the piles and piles of cash do if they just want more to hoard instead of using it to make a change.
I understand and I am sad that the market, and tech is such that the chance of a scrappy underdog showing up to disrupt the market is second to none, but all I can do is hope and support the project if I come across it.

When judging nvidia, remember that graphics cards are just their source of revenue that enables them to research massive supercomputers and basically try to take over the world. Their focus never has been on graphics. Big government and scientific research contracts are way more lucrative. TLDR, they don’t care about gamers. Hence the 3090 ti and their record breaking profits.

I understand DLSS and DSR. I can even comprehend DLDSR, but combining DLDSR and DLSS doesn't make sense to me. When using both together, is it upsampling -> upsampling -> downsampling or upsampling -> downsampling -> upsampling? In the first case, would it just be equivalent to charging the scaling on the DLDSR, and in the later case, would it not be equivalent to just DLSS with extra steps?

Exactly, it's to make the image sharper at the cost of framerate, just like other forms of anti aliasing. Which is why DLDSR is good, because the framerate cost is more negligible, and the results look just as good, if not better.

I loved nvidia’s DSR.. until I upgraded to an Ultrawide monitor.
It just does not work or register it’s turned on for ANY video game I’ve tried if I’m using 2560x1080 21:9 resolutions.

matej nemec Depends what your monitor is saying its native resolution is through EDID. My TV tells my gpu its native display output should be 3840x2160@24Hz so with DLDSR on I'm stuck at 24Hz even though my TV supports 120Hz.

Ok, I lied. I currently use nvidia image scaling to get more fps out of my highly modded Skyrim SE game in a 5120x1440 res display. I gain around 10 fps when I lower resolution to 85% and let NIS scale it back up.

Would DLDSR replace NIS? If so, how would I implement it?
