Producers from the bay do not hold the exclusive rights of that heavy 808 kicks, thin and precise hi-hats, and reverb claps. Rappers and producers from New York are making interesting music with a heavy influence of Southern Trap. Producers in Brazil are flipping the Twerk and Trap sound and making it their own. There is nothing wrong with Mustard and the influence that the bay sound had on his musical experience.
