DJ T.CONTS Lyrics

Vi kjører opp og med
Du vet Larvik er vårt sted
Chuger spriten ned alle damer ned på kne
Vi kjører opp og med
Du vet Larvik er vårt sted
Chuger spriten ned alle damer ned på kne

Frankenstein
Og vi ruller dagen lang
Knuller deg når du er trang
Røyker weed hele dagen
Fristelstein
Og ho er så klein
Og til moren sin og grein

Åh hå
For du veit vi puller opp med
Noen jappser og en somaler
Jeg vil ha nudler for meg selv
Jeg vil ikke dele

Vi kjører opp og med
Du vet Larvik er vårt sted
Chuger spriten ned alle damer ned på kne
Vi kjører opp og med
Du vet Larvik er vårt sted
Chuger spriten ned alle damer ned på kne

Vi kjører opp og med
Du vet Larvik er vårt sted
Chuger spriten ned alle damer ned på kne
Vi kjører opp og med
Du vet Larvik er vårt sted
Chuger spriten ned alle damer ned på kne

Frankenstein
Og vi ruller dagen lang
Knuller deg når du er trang
Røyker weed hele dagen
Fristelstein
Og ho er så klein
Og til moren sin og grein

Åh du vet at vi er på vei til deg
Spiser en potet lager lørdagskos
Så vipps så har jeg potetmos

Vi kjører opp og med
Du vet Larvik er vårt sted
Chuger spriten ned alle damer ned på kne
Vi kjører opp og med
Du vet Larvik er vårt sted
Chuger spriten ned alle damer ned på kne

Vi kjører opp og med
Du vet Larvik er vårt sted
Chuger spriten ned alle damer ned på kne
Vi kjører opp og med
Du vet Larvik er vårt sted
Chuger spriten ned alle damer ned på kne

Vi kjører opp og med
Du vet Larvik er vårt sted
Chuger spriten ned alle damer ned på kne
Vi kjører opp og med

Du vet Larvik er vårt sted
Chuger spriten ned alle damer ned på kne

Overall Meaning

The lyrics to DJ T.CONTS's song "Frankenstein" seem to depict a wild and rebellious lifestyle in Larvik, with references to alcohol, drugs, and casual sex. The repeated phrase "Vi kjører opp og med, Du vet Larvik er vårt sted" suggests a sense of pride and belonging to the town of Larvik, where the characters in the song engage in hedonistic behavior. The line "Chuger spriten ned alle damer ned på kne" is provocative and alludes to a reckless attitude towards alcohol consumption and objectification of women, painting a picture of disrespect and disregard for others.

The chorus featuring the word "Frankenstein" may represent a monstrous and destructive side of their personalities, possibly alluding to a chaotic and erratic lifestyle. The lines "Og vi ruller dagen lang, Knuller deg når du er trang, Røyker weed hele dagen" further emphasize a hedonistic and carefree attitude, where pleasure-seeking and substance abuse take precedence over responsibility. The mention of "Fristelstein" and someone crying to their mother adds a layer of vulnerability to the otherwise boastful and reckless behavior portrayed in the song, hinting at a sense of remorse or inner turmoil.

The verses mentioning encounters with different social groups like "noen jappser og en somaler" and desires for personal gratification such as having noodles to oneself reflect a selfish and entitled mindset. The imagery of eating potatoes and making potato mash conveys a sense of simplicity and comfort, juxtaposing the wild lifestyle depicted in other parts of the song. These mundane activities may serve as a contrast to the chaotic and destructive behavior described in the rest of the lyrics, hinting at a desire for stability and normalcy amidst the frenzy.

Overall, "Frankenstein" by DJ T.CONTS paints a vivid but troubling picture of a group of individuals who indulge in vices and recklessness, showing a lack of regard for others and themselves. The repeated phrases and references to Larvik suggest a strong connection to their hometown, but this connection is overshadowed by destructive behavior and questionable attitudes towards women. The song seems to explore themes of indulgence, self-destructiveness, and a yearning for stability amidst chaos, ultimately leaving the listener with a sense of unease and a glimpse into a turbulent and troubled world.

I was a complete nerd growing up in the 70s, and inner city classmates were not kind to me. But one day our grade school teacher asked all the students in the class to bring in one 45 record each and we would take class time to play everyone's selection. So I brought in my absolute favorite 45 at the time... Frankenstein! The other kids all brought cool soul and R&B records (which I also liked) and when my turn came up there was a collective moan from the rest of the class, lots of rude comments and complaints, no body wanted to hear what the nerd brought to record day! The teacher silenced the class and played my record and it ended up being a smash hit with the rest of the class! They thought it was the coolest thing they had ever heard and it was the only record the other kids wanted to hear more than once! So thanks to Edgar Winter and band, I got to be the cool kid for a day!

True story.

Lol. That's a great story.
I've seen people through the years that the group turned on for no reason. Never understood it, always hated it.

@100hooker

Cool. I’ll bet you’re having the last laugh these days. What kind of music did you listen to later in life?

@michaelkeefer4293

@@100hooker Last laugh? I don't know or even care about that, I harbor no ill feelings from that time in my life. It simply happened and is a part of my life story. In high school I got really into 80's rock, new wave and pop. After high school I went back to listening primarily to what is now considered classic rock. Then I went through a long phase of listening mostly to prog rock and classical. Nowadays, I listen to just about anything pre 90's rock, prog rock, pop, funk, rap, R&B and soul. On occasion I'll even throw some classic country, bluegrass and Jazz into the mix.
