The idea for this song came to me while I was sleeping.

When I woke up, I felt like something significant was going to happen.

I had a feeling that a major event was going to occur, possibly one related to religion or spirituality.

The sky was all purple
The sky looked unusual or remarkable in some way.

There were people runnin' everywhere
People were panicking and running around, possibly in response to some kind of disaster or threat.

Tryin' to run from the destruction
People were trying to escape harm or danger.

You know I didn't even care
Despite the chaos, I felt unaffected and unconcerned.

'Cause they say two thousand zero zero
Many people believe that the year 2000 will bring significant change or a cataclysmic event.

Party over, oops out of time
People have been partying too much and time is running out for them to enjoy themselves.

So tonight I'm gonna party like it's 1999
I'm going to make the most of the time I have left and have a wild party.

So sue me if I go to fast
If I seem too excited or impulsive, you can blame it on my enthusiasm.

But life is just a party
Life should be enjoyed and celebrated like a party.

And parties weren't meant to last
Like all parties, life is temporary and will eventually come to an end.

War is all around us
There are conflicts and battles happening constantly.

My mind says prepare to fight
I feel like I need to be ready for any challenges or obstacles that might come my way.

So if I gotta die
If I'm going to die, I want to go out on my own terms and not be afraid to take risks.

I'm gonna listen to my body tonight
I'm going to let loose and have a good time, letting my instincts guide me.
