My younger brother committed suicide last weekend by overdosing on something. He was found with headphones on, presumably listening to something. This is his youtube account. He made a playlist containing 6 songs that was edited the day he passed. This is one of the 6 songs. With the method he used, he was dead after about 30 minutes, probably unconscious around 12 minutes. I like to think that it was peaceful for him with his music on. I love you Myles, I'll miss you everyday for the rest of my life.

My first job at 17 was at a Burger King . I remember closing up my shift at the store and this song coming on the speakers. It would be 5 pm and I would look up and see my mom waiting in the bench outside for me. We grew up pretty low income and only had one car, which my dad used for work. She would walk from our apartment to my job at the ending of my shift. Afterwards we’d grab some decaf coffee and talk about our day. I’m 30 now and had my son in June. She passed a month later never getting to see him. I miss her so much it hurts, I think about her randomly sometimes and the shock/ pain starts flowing back in. Even though we didn’t have much growing up, her love kept me so happy I didn’t need anything else. Love you Aummi RIP.

I'll soon be 78 years young. I have loved this song since it was first released, but I never knew until I viewed the video with captioned lyrics what it was about. The poetic words and gorgeous string instrumentals have always comforted me in some indefineable way. They simply re-orient my thoughts and help ground me in my otherwise directionless life. It's even more significant because it was released the same year my father passed, exactly one week before 9/11, and just 10 months after the death of my dear mother. As the oldest of their three children, I have since lost my youngest brother, and my only child inexplicably shut me out of her life. Thankfully, I am left with this wonderful song to replay in my head in their absence. It's a reminder that they have all transitioned to planes that I can't possibly comprehend, and that I must reconcile that all is well with them out there.

I lost my mom in 2009. I literally fell to my knees when I was told she wasn't going to make it. I spent her last night with my head on her lap just holding her hand. God how I miss that wonderful loving creature of God's best design. I was so lucky to have her for my mom. She always encouraged me and never cut me down. She was strict, but always loving. No one could have asked for a better mom.

My son committed suicide March 12 2020 .. he really love this song his name was Brian Keith Starnes . He's now resting with family I lost Christmas Eve of 2021 . For the people who think I speak fake all you have to do is check the obituary in Carrollton ga . On the date . He was in Carrroll co jail when this happened and only in jail for a day . When the chaplain and the sheriff came to my house I collapsed when I was told . I am still in disbelief that my son would commit suicide he was too full of life . .. rip my son 😢. Another sad year without you ..

I dedicate this to my dad, he passed away 3 days ago at the age of 91. The funeral is tomorrow and I was thinking about him and this song popped up on my play list. He was always a sweet and tender man. I always remember him crying after he spanked me, we both cried, just for different reasons. His soul has winged it's way to heaven. I hope I have enough composure tomorrow to read his eulogy without breaking down. I love you dad.

oh man i love this song so much i got married in the third of march of 2012 and this was our wedding song. my wife was my twin flame and i looked forward to waking up next to her everyday. she sadly passed away a few years later due to alopecia, i don’t think ill ever love the same way again. i haven’t listened to this song in so long because of all the memories it encapsulates but this is the first time where i can listen to it and feel closer to her without any pain. you are the only one ill ever love. i miss you and love you my Beth. ❤️❤️

This song was released in the fall of 2001. So much change was happening in not just my world, but the entire world. September 11 happened while I was living away from home at college. My first boyfriend and I had just broken up. He told me this song reminded him of me ❤ I am 43 now, and I can honestly say that while looking for myself out there, (as we all do when we’re young) that I did find all these things and more ❤

My beautiful 23 year old passed away and I played this at her funeral 2 days ago....she was the most amazing person I ever met but suffered many health problems but I never thought she would die at such a young age.... thank you for this song... we use to always sing it together. I much rather be with her than stuck here without her and just not sure I can move forward without her....
